Moutarde

honestly i don’t know where to begin. i really wanted to like this place as we were there for my birthday dinner but alas no matter how i tried to enjoy myself it proved to be difficult. when we entered the restaurant we were seated and proceeded to browse the menu and place our order. we order the charcuterie board, french onion soup and minute steak frites for sharing between the 2 of us. my partner ordered us some sparkling water as well whilst i browsed the wine menu. when the server came to top our glasses up with water we were served still water mistakenly - which is no issue, we told them it’s fine and we’ll finish these glasses before getting it topped with sparkling the next round. the issue comes when the entire night our water kept going from still to sparkling when different staff members topped it up and at one point my glass was even half still and half sparkling? wine comes in 3 sizes 10cl, 15cl and 50cl. i ordered a 15cl glass of wine and the server came with 50cl, poured about 10cl in my glass before another server realised this issue and apologised and took away the extra wine (without checking if i was correctly served the 15cl) food came almost all at once, our main came whilst we had barely started on the charcuterie board making the table quite cramped. strangely the french onion soup came towards the end despite it being a starter?.. staff seems uncertain and kept making mistakes throughout the night, couldn’t even have dessert here as i’m not sure what else could go wrong. when the bill came i asked my partner to check before paying and sure enough they charged us for 50cl of wine, whilst the staff apologised about the mistake it seemed insincere as the apology was delivered smiling? when leaving none of the staff thanked us or even looked at us (perhaps i expected better service standards for a restaurant at this price point) food was extremely mediocre as well, minute steak was overcooked and charcuterie board just came with a selection of meats no cheese (could be a mistake/oversight on our part, but we were not informed the smaller size does not have cheese)

This was my second visit to Moutarde at Resorts World Sentosa, and it was just as memorable as my first. I was genuinely touched that two team members remembered me—Petronille, the hostess, and Basker, the Bar Captain. Their warm welcome and exceptional service made me feel like a valued returning guest. On my first visit, I tried the salmon with spinach, and it was delicious. This time, I went for the Wednesday Beef Wellington special. While I found the beef a little on the dry side, Basker recommended pairing it with their house mustard blended with spices. I don't usually eat mustard, but this one completely changed my mind! It complemented the Beef Wellington perfectly and didn't have the strong mustard flavour I was expecting. It was absolutely delicious and really elevated the dish. He also kindly offered me extra beef jus, which made the dish even more enjoyable. I also mentioned that I only wanted to try the Cabernet Franc, and he happily let me have a taste, which I really appreciated. The only small hiccup during my visit was that my wine glass was left empty for a while and none of the other team members offered a refill or a second glass. Aside from that, the overall experience was excellent. A big thank you to Petronille and Basker for their outstanding hospitality. Their attentive and personalised service is what keeps guests coming back. I'm looking forward to returning again to explore more of Moutarde's food and wine selection! Charisma

Great place for a nice dinner, amazing food and fantastic service! It was Wellington Wednesday so we ordered the set; very worthwhile for the price - beef was very tender and it came with a side and a drink as well. The open area for preparation is a plus as diners can watch certain dishes being prepared. I was keen to take a video of Executive Chef Greg Robinson cutting up the beef wellington piece - I asked for permission and he agreed, and asked me to wait for the next order so I could take a full video. Appreciate that he made a special effort to use a new piece to cut it for my video, and he is also very friendly! The rest of the staff are also great with their service - I don’t drink alcohol or cold drinks and asked if I could swap the drink to any hot drink for the set menu and the staff kindly accommodated. The basque cheesecake for my birthday treat was also superb! Overall the experience was fantastic <3

Very nice modern French dining with a great ambience! My family loved the steak frites and prime rib. I had the char-grilled chicken, which was incredibly flavorful and tender. We also shared the French onion soup — rich, and absolutely delicious. And the Irish Kopi sundae is superb ! ❤️ A lovely dining experience and definitely a place we’d be happy to return to🥰

Had a wonderful dinner with friends after work and it was a great experience from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and exceptionally polite, making us feel welcome throughout the evening. Every dish we ordered was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavour, exceeding our expectations. The pleasant atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy good food with good company. We will definitely be back again to try more items from the menu.

Really loved our meal at Moutarde! The steak frites and cheese soufflé were amazing, and the French toast was so good! Special thanks to Jessica and Jordan for being so warm and accommodating.

Came here for the good brunch for the second time this year. Food quality is good and consistent. Our table was served by Innah. She's made our meal more completed with her excellent service and hospitality.

Bruno was a very engaging waiter and made us feel very welcomed. The food was supremely delicious and unique. Very worthy the money.
