Barossa Steak and Grill

I only planned to have a drink on the terrace, but the warm welcome quickly changed my plans. I ordered an IPA, got the Wi‑Fi access right away, and ended up staying for a Wagyu steak — and the food was genuinely excellent.As a whisky lover, I finished the evening with an Ardbeg 10, which was just as good. I also had a friendly chat with the Malaysian waitress, who even showed me a video of her sister visiting the Bad Reichenhall salt mine in Austria — a lovely, unexpected moment.I really enjoyed my time at Barossa. Thank you for the great hospitality.

We celebrated a friend's birthday and booked the private room (about 26 pax) for a Sat dinner. Danie who handled the event was an impeccable professional - from organizing set up, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed to organizing a beautiful balloon garland that we used for backdrop for all photos. The food (pre ordered for sharing- was very well executed and timed well) was delicious. We also enjoyed the table side flambe of the tomahawk. The staff - Danie, Emerald, John and Braven were very proactive (topping up wines, waters, clearing dishes and changing plates between appetizers and mains etc) We all had a lovely time at Barossa! Thank you!

Had a great dinner at Barossa Steak and Grill in VivoCity. The food was excellent — we ordered the meat platter, a basket of bread, and the sticky pudding for dessert, and everything was delicious. The meats were well-cooked and flavorful, and the sticky pudding was the perfect way to end the meal. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially Mae, who was very hands-on throughout the evening and made sure everything was in order. Her attentiveness and warm service really made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great night with good food and wonderful service. Would definitely come back again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional food and world-class service from Eddie! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Barossa VivoCity! From the moment we walked in, Eddie looked after us incredibly well. He guided us through the menu with fantastic recommendations, and his service throughout the entire meal was attentive, warm, and seamless. To top it all off, he surprised us with a complimentary Tiramisu cake at the end of our meal! The food was absolutely great, but Eddie’s hospitality made the night truly special. Will definitely be back!

Made a reservation before arriving so getting seated was swift and easy. Just note that 2 persons table are only available near the entrance, larger groups have more options and can be seated further inside the restaurant with more privacy. But that didn’t really bother me and my husband because we are here for the food 😂 We order mostly chef’s specials and everything was amazing! Including the octopus starter, the lobster bisque, the steak, the aged pork (goes really well with the truffle butter). We also ordered two glasses of white wine - can’t really recall the name now but it was the first two white wine on the drinks menu and both were smooth and had this fruity after taste. The service here is top notch - the servers check in on you to see if you need anything just at the right intervals and even reminded us to have the octopus while it was still hot so it tastes tender. Overall a very lovely dining experience for me and my husband - would highly recommend!

Service is very attentive and warm and friendly! We were served by Kabi. We took the buffet. The pork ribs are juicy and tender and flavourful! Though some batches were tougher than the others but still very good especially when hot. The calamari is crispy, not jelak, and the sauce is very addictive! The buffalo wings are very good too! Saucy, crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. Love that it had jalopenos too. The rib eye steak was a bit overdone and they gladly changed it. Beef ribs were good too!

EDITED: Service recovery team/barossa that left a feedback on my review did not bother to respond to me despite advising me to contact them thru the email provided. Review: Decided to give this place a go after seeing the IG reels as well as the Google reviews for our birthday celebration. Had pretty high hopes due to the reviews only to be UTTERLY disappointed. The only good thing out of the experience is that they managed to hold our seats (we were late for abt 15mins) due to the traffic condition. 1. Went into the restaurant and there’s a bird (mynah) flying around in the restaurant. Several times, it was hovering above our heads. This is supposed to be a restaurant, it’s as though we are dining at a hawker centre. We were worried about bird droppings on our heads! 2. Staff was SUPER passive. Nobody asked if we’ve been there before and if we know how we should order etc. We had to keep looking for someone to order and clarify. Best part was, I ordered 2 ribeye first, and the waitress kept the menu away -.- I’d to go and request for the menu from her again. Either she assumes I’ve a super memory, or I’m just ordering 2 ribeyes. 3. Ordered 2 ribeyes medium rare , 1 came out ok, the other came out medium well to well. After we feedback, one of e staff offered to change it but we decided to stick with it since waiting time was long. The buffet is only 90 mins - so time is very limited. Beef tasted bland (unlike those stated in the reviews) requested for sauce and it never came. Had to request it again before it finally appear.. 4. Tried another steak, rump cap, but it turned out the same. For this price we are paying, there’s definitely something better. It’s even to a point whereby we thought certain food court(western) serves better tasting steaks than barossa. 5. Tried the aglio olio mushroom, was OVERLY salty but we finished it anyways (since already no mood to feedback) only to find prawn feelers(pic attached) in the mushroom aglio olio. Thankfully, we have no prawn allergy, otherwise , we won’t know what would happened. No idea if chef is around to QC. And this is supposed to be a vegetarian dish. What’s e prawn feeler doing in our pasta. 6. We had our lunch around 1215pm onwards. I was back facing the kitchen and my hubby was facing the kitchen. At one point, he saw a waiter USING his barehands to check the temperature of the fries!! Goodness! Waiter using hand to check temperature and then to serve it to other tables? I’m not sure if CCTV is installed but it’ll be good to check. Horrible. Who knows what was the waiter doing before serving the dish? Cleaning the table? Throwing thrash? At this point, we were already beyond words. Hopefully this review will help future diners like us. Not worth the money, for the quality of steak, service and ambience. This is a really bad birthday celebration!

Visited this restaurant recently and had a pleasant dining experience overall. The steak was definitely the highlight — cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in their meat quality. Service was excellent throughout the meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to respond, which made the dining experience more enjoyable. However, the pasta was slightly below expectations. It wasn’t bad, but the flavor and texture didn’t quite stand out compared to the steak. Overall, it’s not a bad place to dine, especially if you’re going for the steak. That said, the pricing is on the higher side, so it may be more suitable for special occasions rather than casual visits.
