Cygnet

Came for the Steak Frites buffet - do yourself a favor and upgrade to the ribeye. The service here is genuinely top notch, and it starts before you even enter the restaurant. I arrived early and was waiting in the QT hotel lobby when someone came over just to serve me iced water. When does that ever happen at a hotel lobby? That level of hospitality carried through to the restaurant staff too. The food didn't disappoint either. Steaks were cooked perfectly every time, and the fries were a great match. My only suggestion: more sauce options, maybe even as a paid top-up. I'd happily pay for it.

Horrible experience at cygnet. Had my birthday dinner there but service was so slow (eg. took more than an hour for our mains to come, even asking for the bill took more than 10mins), my glass of water only got refilled once for the entire 2hours duration. Our table was cleared after the appetisers and left empty for so long that another waitstaff came up to us and asked if we were all good. We had to inform her that we were still waiting on our mains. Steak was alright, but completely overshadowed by the terrible service experienced tonight. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this experience left us speechless.

The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, the waitress/ waiter are helpful and friendly , their service is very enthusiastic, giving a vibe that they are always ready to serve/ assist customers when needed. Firstly , they serve us free fluffy bread, taste damn good and we ordered oysters too since it’s $1++ , fresh but not a creamy type as I thought The steak was perfectly cook ( medium) with the peppercorn sauce and serve with fries , little bit crispy on the outside and moist inside which makes it perfect. End up with a free Anniversary Cake from them which is also delicious ( chocolate cheesecake I guess? ) 10/10 amazing!!!

Sometimes promotions seems like a gimmick to get people in, a marketing trick to help clear out old inventory - Except this, this one was different. Everything was exceptional! The cook on the beef was on point. Fatty, juicy, and melt in your mouth. Mashed potatoes were smooth and silky. The oysters were fresh, succulent, crisp and clean! I’m not a huge fan of oysters but this place certainly changed my mind about it. The service team was memorable. Everyone was just so hospitable - so warm and attentive. From Jenny always checking up on us, making sure we had a good time to Amy who welcomed us and made my birthday extra special, the service was heart felt and turned a great meal into a memorable celebration.

We had the unlimited steak option, however it was not worth the price. You can get as many steaks at a cheaper price and better quality elsewhere. A waiter was inflexible when we said there were 3 people celebrating birthdays, luckily the manager stepped in and gave 3 cakes. The bread together with the different butters was really good though.

A visit was made to Cygnet to celebrate a friend's birthday, where the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality. The team provided a complimentary birthday cake and a Polaroid card. The dining experience included $1 oysters which tasted very fresh, free bread as starters and the $48 bottomless steak, which was highly flavorful and juicy. We will definitely return to Cygnet again!!

I chose Cygnet for my sister’s birthday, and it was absolutely the right choice. The bottomless steak and fries, plus $1 oysters, were great value. The ribeye was tender, refills arrived quickly, and the staff were warm and attentive without pressuring us to order expensive items. The atmosphere and excellent service made it feel like a real celebration. Our bill was higher because of drinks, but the steak-and-fries offer itself is excellent value.

had such an amazing birthday dinner here - the service was great, staff were knowledgeable, friendly and personable. had the bottomless steak frites and $1 oysters. really nice gesture with the black sesame birthday cake for our celebration and they even gave us a birthday card with a polaroid. shoutout to owen who served us this evening!! 💯
