The food and service were completely different from my previous experiences, and unfortunately, not in a good way.
Service
1. The servers were impatient, inattentive, and at times rude.
2. When feedback was provided on the main courses, the responses came across as dismissive and even insulting.
3. Service staff clearly require more training in handling guest feedback and queries professionally.
4. Not every diner provides feedback expecting something in return—basic respect and acknowledgment should be standard.
5. When the host was offering coffee after the meal, it was inappropriate for a server to interrupt and raise his voice in an impatient manner.
Correcting a guest publicly—especially over something as minor as whether it’s a black coffee or an Americano—is poor etiquette. Even if the staff wanted to clarify, it should have been done discreetly and politely, without putting the guest on the spot. From a service standpoint, the priority is to make guests feel comfortable, not to “win” a correction.
Raising one’s voice or showing impatience while taking orders is also unacceptable. That kind of behavior can make guests feel rushed or disrespected, and it reflects a lack of training in basic hospitality standards like tone control, attentiveness, and guest handling.
Food
1. The starters and desserts were acceptable, but the main courses fell below fine dining standards.
2. The duck confit and trout were overly salty. My guests did not enjoy the dishes but finished them out of courtesy.
3. The lamb was excessively fatty, and the sides were also too salty. Although medium doneness was requested, the meat was served undercooked and quite raw (perhaps intended as a French style, but not communicated).
4. The menu stated that the Caesar salad would be prepared tableside, yet it was served directly from the kitchen. The explanation given—“more salad to eat”—was inappropriate. Diners’ preferences should be respected, rather than decisions being made on their behalf.
Overall
The entire dining experience was unpleasant, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
