Open the map and the city sorts itself. Every place is a photo bubble that glows by how much is happening there right now. Pinch out for the district, pinch in for the street, narrow to cafes, bars or dessert. Cafe-hop by sight instead of by search.
Collections
Playlists, for places.
Save a place with one tap. Group them into collections — Sunday brunch, six days in Bali, cocktails worth the money — and keep them private, friends-only or public. Invite someone to build one with you, or share a link that opens for anyone. Stamp the ones you've actually been to and watch your map of the city fill in.
Your profile
A profile that is your taste.
Reviews here are short and firsthand: a body, a rating, your own photos. They stack into a wall that reads as a taste, not a receipt. Follow the people whose picks keep landing, send a place straight to a friend, ask them where to go tonight. Every contribution earns reputation, tiers and labels you can wear.

What is HotPlace?
A community-built map for finding places worth going to. Explore a city by how much is happening in it right now, save what you find into collections, follow the people whose taste you trust, and build a profile out of yours. Cafes, restaurants, bars, bakeries, dessert spots — anywhere you'd choose to spend an evening.
How is this different from Google Maps?
Google Maps is a search engine — it answers the question you already knew to ask. HotPlace is built for the other half: browsing a neighbourhood you don't know, seeing where the energy is tonight, keeping the places you love, and sharing them with people. Search is one feature here, not the whole product.
How does HotPlace rank places?
On what the community does: new reviews, new saves, people marking that they actually went. That rolls into a live hotness score per place, which cools as the moment passes. A place climbs because people are turning up this week — not because it banked a good average years ago.
What do I get for writing reviews?
Reputation, not cash. Reviews, helpful votes from other readers and completed quests all earn points; points raise your tier and unlock labels you can wear on your profile. We paid cash for reviews once and stopped on purpose — paying for opinions corrupts the one thing this runs on.
Is HotPlace free?
Yes. Browsing the map, reading and writing reviews, collecting and sharing places all cost nothing. It's free for shops too, while we build.
Where does HotPlace work?
Singapore first, with more cities opening as we go. Coverage works city by city — each one arrives with its own places, its own charts and its own search, rather than a thin global layer.
When does the app launch?
Very soon. The HotPlace app for iOS and Android is in the final stretch, launching in Singapore first — the store listings will appear right here the moment they're live.
I run a shop — what does HotPlace do for me?
Two things. You become findable by people already out looking, ranked on the activity in your shop — reviews, saves, people turning up. And you get a live, geofenced queue customers join from their phones, whether you need to fill the line or keep the floor comfortable. Free while we build — write to hello@hotplace.app.
