We ordered the 200g Top Blade Yappari Steak, French Foie Gras, and both the Truffle and Original Cheese Fondue. It was enjoyable cooking the steak on the hot Mount Fuji lava stone to our preferred doneness, and the variety of dipping sauces made every bite even more enjoyable. One of the best parts of the meal is that every steak comes with unlimited salad, steamed rice, and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was served piping hot and was especially comforting.

We tried their signature Yappari Steak, a top blade cut that was lean yet tender. Being able to cook each piece to our preferred doneness made the dining experience fun. We added the foie gras, it was buttery, smooth and melted in our mouths. We also had the the truffle and original cheese fondue. The fondue added a savoury richness to the steak without overpowering the natural flavours. It was creamy yet light enough. There’s also a variety of sauces and seasonings available to customise each bite of you steak. Our favourites were the Yappari steak mix and wasabi.

This steak was absolutely incredible, my only complaint is that it splatters a bit while cooking. 😂🥩 I came here for lunch with my colleague, and I LOVED that there were several different sauces to choose from, so every bite tasted a little different. Pair it with the truffle cheese fondue for an extra rich, indulgent flavor. If you’re a steak lover, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Overhyped. Blade 200g with foie gras. the beef- i dont know wad i was eating. the meat has neither fragrance nor taste to it. You had to add salt or sauce else there.is.no.taste to the meat. Bland. Just a piece of meat. Thankfully the foie gras which was a addon saved the meal. I didnt touch the soup- it looked strange to me. The whole place smelt of greasy air. staff were just pushing hot plates out like a production line. $80+ for two sets of 200g. Not returning. even pepper lunch is a better choice.

The steak was delicious and reasonably priced. We wished they had instructed us to cut the meat ourselves to ensure even cooking. Half the time, we were contemplating searing it longer for a crispier texture before cutting it. Fortunately, we realised the hotplate wasn’t hot enough to achieve that, so we quickly cut it into bite-sized pieces and cooked it to our desired doneness. The garlic rice was a bit disappointing. Perhaps we were supposed to add seasoning and stir it in. Having more instructions would have been helpful. Overall, the staff were friendly, and the sauce variety was great! I’ll definitely return. (Just a heads up, the food can get a bit greasy when cooked. You can get disposable aprons if you need them.)

Yappari Steak is a steak brand from Naha, Okinawa, Japan. Its unique feature is its use of a Mount Fuji lava stone grill, which retains heat exceptionally well. The steaks are typically served with only the outer layer quickly seared, while the inside remains nearly rare, allowing customers to determine their own doneness. The brand emphasizes thick cuts that are tender, highlighting the original flavor of the beef. The focus isn't on fancy plating, but on letting you concentrate on enjoying the meat. The steaks are served with only a slightly charred outer layer, while the inside remains pink and tender—around medium-rare. The lava stone grill on the table keeps the heat constant, allowing you to cut it immediately if you want it more tender, or let it rest for a few more seconds if you prefer more char. Being able to decide the doneness for each bite is a huge plus. The steak I ordered was much more tender than I expected. It wasn't mushy; it was springy when cut and juicy when bitten. The set meal included white rice, cabbage salad, and egg drop soup—a complete meal. The extra black truffle cheese was a delightful surprise; it was rich and flavorful, and the aroma was very direct when eaten with the hot rice. The black truffle flavor wasn't overpowering; the creamy aroma combined with the rice and beef gravy made it easy to eat more. The table was also well-stocked with condiments: black pepper, sea salt, several soy sauces, mustard, garlic, and hot sauce. It's a perfect bite-sized combination.

I are at this eatery once in kobe and I was delighted that they have opened in singapore. Went for a visit and was not disappointed. The only difference is that the quantity of steak is much more here. Word of advice: order their recommended protein size for the meal, that is 200g. Coz 150g is for the small eaters, and 300g is too much even for big eaters. Bear in mind, u get unlimited rice, soup and salad. But the draw of this eaters is the sauces. So many combos you can create with their sauces and seasoning. A must come and try.
