Mall-floor ramen and omakase counters, with the bar strip running off Cuppage
Singapore's shopping spine, and a denser eating district than the shopfronts suggest — most of it is upstairs or in the basements. Mall floors hold ramen counters, Korean fried chicken, izakayas and a run of omakase rooms, alongside some of the city's oldest fine-dining addresses. The drinking is concentrated off the main road, on the terraces and side lanes where bars stay open after the malls close. Expect a mall-priced bowl and a tasting menu at the other end of the scale within the same few hundred metres.
