Absolutely fantastic experience at Yakitori One! The yakitori was delicious, beautifully grilled, and packed with flavor. Every dish we ordered was enjoyable, and the quality was consistently impressive. What truly made the evening memorable was Kai’s outstanding service. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. His recommendations were excellent, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Thank you, Kai, for your warm hospitality. We will definitely be returning and recommending Yakitori One to our friends and family!

Excellent service by Anson! He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal. What impressed us most was his kindness in offering to accompany my elderly mum to the restroom—a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us. Thank you, Anson, for making our dining experience so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Omakase SGD 98+ Honey Citrus Cherry Tomato - (10/10) sweet juicy and has the right acid to reset your palate Grilled Quail Egg - (8/10) Cooked Right nothing extra Marinated Seafood - (8.5/10) Shrimp, Abalone, Shells quite delicious but on the salty side. Cooked great meaty but not tough. Negi Chicken Thigh - (9/10) one of my favorite yakitori interesting combination of condiment very tasty Wagyu Skewer - (8/10) cooked right melt in your mouth but i find the taste lacking a bit with grated radish on top. I did not counteract the fattiness of the meat. Shishito Pepper - (8.5/10) right smokiness and tasty sauce but i find the sauce a bit lacking not being able to cover all the peppers Chicken Wings - (7/10) Flavor is ok a bit tough. Lobster - (10/10) best dish of the night, flavor of sweet lobster contrast well with the cheese base sauce and umami of caviar. Thin-sliced Gyutan - (8/10) a bit tough, i find beef tongue to be exquisite if cooked right but i think they cooked it a bit over. Tsukune - Chicken Meatball - (8.5/10) Sauce is really good but i find the meatball a bit lacking in flavor maybe better if they use beef meatball instead. Overall i find the price quite ok for the meal not as filling but overall you get a lot of dish with different flavor. Service felt a bit rushed and they forgot 1 dish which if i didn’t brought up would just be forgotten. I also had to ask for the copy of the menu for the omakase.

An outstanding yakitori experience from start to finish. Every skewer was grilled to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with just the right touch of charcoal. The chicken was incredibly fresh, from classic thigh and skin to more adventurous cuts such as neck, wing stick boneless, crispy trachea, wing tips boneless, all executed with skill and respect for the ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the pacing of the dishes spot-on. Sake pairing recommendations were excellent, making the whole meal feel thoughtfully curated. This is the kind of place that reminds you how special yakitori can be when done right. We meant to stay for one round. Then another skewer came out. Then another hours later we were still there, plates cleared, drinks empty, completely content. Everything was cooked with precision and soul. That’s the danger of a truly great yakitori spot. Apart from Ala carte menu, the staff also explain to us that they offer late night Omakase such as $68 and $98 omakase set which starts from 10:30PM till 12:30AM (last timing to enjoy your full 1.5hrs Omakase dining experience, slow and steady). Last but not least, this is the kind of restaurant you return to not out of habit, but out of trust. Highly Recommended for all the Yakitori Lovers! Can’t wait to come back!

Had an outdoor table where the beers happy hour pricing is applicable. But it was cozy and not affected by the working crowd bustling around. However, it does get warm if not seated at one of the only 2 tables under a ceiling fan. Service was prompt and pleasant. The Spicy Marinated Seafood Platter and Fried Tofu with Wagyu Paste were very nice and quite worthy of the pricing. Had some skewers but was particularly disturbed when we mentioned to the waitress that the chicken breast cubes were not cooked on the inside (mushy) and was told that it's their standard medium rare. But she did offer to have them returned to be well-done. Since when chicken can be eaten medium rare??

A great spot for casual bites and drinks. The outdoor tables overlook the Fountain of Wealth and busy traffic below—perfect for people-watching while unwinding or catching up with friends. There’s a wide range of creative dishes and rare cuts on the menu, all reasonably priced. We started with the signature salad—refreshing and nicely dressed—followed by the chutoro topped with grated foie gras, and uni, wasabi filling. The foie gras added a cotton-candy-like texture that melted beautifully. The uni was sadly hardly noticeable because of the wasabi. The tuna itself had a small chewy tendon, but the overall combo still worked well. Yakitori came next, served one by one on a shared plate—great for enjoying together. The tongue (thin cut) and heart aorta (hatsumoto) were standouts—perfectly grilled and full of flavor. Hatsumoto especially felt like something you’d only find at quality yakitori spots. The neck meat and chicken fillet with wasabi were tender but less memorable—probably ones we’d skip next time. The highlight: tsukune (meatball) with raw egg. Easily one of the best we’ve had—juicy, packed with crunchy cartilage, smoky from the grill, and coated with melted cheese and chopped perilla leaves that balanced the sweet-savory sauce perfectly. Dipping it into the yolk was pure bliss. It was so good we ordered another two extras—no sharing this time! The foie gras rice cake was another must-try. Perfectly grilled foie gras and rice cake, glazed with yakitori sauce, topped with green peppers, and wrapped in seaweed—a simple yet elevated bite that’s just heavenly. We ended with the spicy seafood platter (technically an appetizer). The rich, spicy-savory broth coated the abalone, clams, and prawns beautifully—like a mix between fresh steamed seafood and a cold, spicy soup. A great way to wrap up the meal. The only small wish is that they’d serve pure umeshu instead of mixing it with another liquor, which overpowered the ume flavor a bit.

Went to this Japanese restaurant last night and had a great experience! The food was amazing, especially their chicken yakitori, which was grilled to perfection and full of flavour. Jason, the manager who served us, really stood out. He is super friendly and knows his stuff well. He took the time to explain in detail about each dishm, what it is, how it’s made, and even what to expect in terms of taste. I also tried the Yuzu alcohol he recommended, and it was perfect for someone like me who’s not much of a drinker, refreshing, light, and not overpowering. The rest of the staff were equally warm and welcoming. I also love that their operating hours make it a great spot to chill after a long day at work. Location also super convenient, just outside Suntec City Tower 2, so very easy to find. Definitely a place I highly recommend and I’ll return to
