Great spot for izakaya-style small plates and skewers! We ordered a mixed platter of fresh oysters, yakitori skewers, crispy fish and chips, seared meat with a trio of seasoning salts, and loaded chili cheese fries that didn’t disappoint. Portions were generous and everything came out hot and fresh. Special shoutout to Merry who served us — she was super nice and attentive, and made sure to walk us through the promos clearly so we knew exactly what we were getting. Made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back!

Had a great dinner at Kanpai 789 at Robertson Quay! We ordered a good mix of dishes, including the spicy dried chilli chicken, grilled pork, fries and buns. Everything came out fresh, well-seasoned and perfect for sharing. The spicy chicken had a satisfying kick, while the grilled pork was juicy and paired really well with the fresh lettuce and sauces. Even the fries were crispy and addictive. We also ended up ordering two rounds of drinks, which says a lot about how enjoyable the atmosphere was. It's a lively spot that's perfect for catching up with friends over food and drinks, especially in the evening. Service was attentive, the food arrived quickly, and the overall vibe was relaxed and fun. Definitely a place I'd come back to for both the food and drinks. Highly recommended if you're looking for a casual izakaya experience around Robertson Quay!

Excellent experience at Kanpai 789! The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, perfect for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. The service was outstanding — the staff was attentive, efficient, and always ready to offer great recommendations. The food was simply amazing: fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and very well-balanced flavors. A special highlight for the quality of the cuts and the care in preparation, which truly makes a difference. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Singapore. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-level dining experience!

This is first time we had lunch here, food was great, rice portion quite big, not much people on Sunday and very relax atmosphere. Most beer with beer o'clock promotion really worth it. Plus weekend also having promotion for lunch meal. Staff service was great too, we will definitely come back again to try more food and drinks!

I stumbled upon this shop by chance. Their spicy chicken is so delicious, I've eaten it several times already.

It was a very nice experience sitting by the riverside. The cheese pizza was delicious, and we really enjoyed it. The pork jowl was a little oily, but the plum Sapporo was excellent and paired well with the meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience with a lovely atmosphere.

Great location on the river. Great for people watching. Amazing drinks deals. Cheap beer $4 @ 4pm, $5@ 5pm etc. Staff are really nice - thanks to you all. We came two days in a row. Had the pork belly - delicious. Everyone else's food looked great and smelled lovely. Will definitely come back next visit. 2 otters swam by when we were there as well - just so you know what the photo is of 😀

Excellent service, excellent wine, and excellent food. Everyone should come and eat! I even met an adorable dog…🥺🥺 A truly wonderful experience, I had a blast with my friends. Just remember to watch your alcohol intake!
