The Patio is pleasantly tucked away in a quiet corner of northern Sembawang, offering a peaceful escape from the city. Located on Level 2, the restaurant enjoys a lovely sea view and a relaxed, breezy atmosphere. The menu is well-rounded, catering to diners of all ages. The Thai basil chicken was juicy with a satisfying kick of spice. The classic burger was cooked just right, with a hint of pink at the centre and a generous serving of fries. The highlight of the meal, however, was the satay, grilled prawns, and sambal stingray platter priced at $65 — excellent value in our view. The satays were well-grilled and flavorful, the prawns were sizeable, deshelled, and perfectly cooked, while the sambal stingray was thick, meaty, and generously coated with chilli. The sambal sotong was more average, slightly on the chewy side. Paired with a cold beer, the meal came together beautifully. Our total bill was around $145. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with limited seating and both indoor and outdoor options. Only two outdoor tables offer unobstructed sea views, so reservations are highly recommended. On a breezy evening, the pet-friendly setting, good food, and relaxed ambience made for a very enjoyable family dining experience. Do note that the location is quite secluded, with limited access to public transport — but that’s part of its charm. We’re happy to recommend The Patio and look forward to returning.

The location is really serene and with the sea breeze, just beautiful! The food is really so good. We had the meat platter C. The chicken was really one of the best I've had. The lamb was very tasty. So good that we ordered a second set. The sambal fried rice was very tasty and spiciness was not overwhelming. The satay was just as good. The meat was very well marinated and the peanut gravy equally good. The owner, "Vern" for ez calling, is very friendly. He happens to be a diehard Liverpool supporter. But he is very welcoming. All in all, a very lovely experience.

Highlight was the view, the vibes and the satay. The place has very nice view and vibes, although i went on a very hot day, the place didn’t feel warm at all. The satay was a real highlight, the mutton was my favourite with barely any smell and was really well seasoned. the bbq prawns were really good too, fresh well seasoned, well cooked and peeled. The seafood bag was decent but felt the seafood didn’t absorb the chilli sauce properly. Big thanks to the staff as well as they were really attentive, consistently clearing the table and attending to our needs. Will likely be back, however slightly inaccessible without a car or moto.

I waited more than 30 minutes for the fish and chips, which was quite disappointing. When it finally arrived, the dish was incredibly salty. At around $22, it was already on the pricey side. I added $3 for aglio olio, but it was not worth the money at all. Bland, unflavoured, and also salty. My honest rating for the fish and chips would be 2/10. That said, I’ve had the seafood bucket at The Patio before. While it was quite expensive, at least it tasted good, which made the experience better then. Hope the consistency and quality can improve.

An enjoyable evening by the shore, complemented by a spread of beer, satay, nuggets and fries. The beer was served chilled, refreshing against the cold breeze after a heavy ☔️ while the satay stood out with its tender texture and subtle smokiness, paired with a nutty sauce. Nuggets and fries were hot and satisfying. Background music and the calm of the shoreline create a relaxed ambiance. Sharing the meal in the company of friends made it all the more memorable, great balance between good food, atmosphere and fellowship. This place is not accessible by public transport 😔

Pleasantly surprised to find this place thanks to google map! It was at a well hidden place...driving in through the small roads reminded me of msian roads to kampong... It's Quiet and peaceful overlooking the Straits and view of Johor. Great satay we tried beef, mutton, chicken, all were fantastic! The bbq prawns were fresh and lightly salted. Our favourite too! Bbq stingray was generous size and sauce well marinated Definitely come again if I'm nearby!

Very nice place to chill on a weekend. Located on 2nd floor. Didt see any life so have to be able to climb stairs but it will give you a nice view of the sea from the 2nd floor. Food is great. Phone data cocerage can be a problem here so have to rely on public wifi as the ordering of food is online after scaning the qr code, no physical menu. Service crew ae friendly and helpful and pretry attentive so this is a plus point. Parking here ia free

We booked a table online with $10/- deposit, which was promptly refunded with our order. The selection of beers they have is impressive, and they have a bar counter with assorted liquor collection. We chose to sit outside facing the North East strait overlook Taman Rinting, enveloped by the gusty breeze which seemed relentless. We enjoyed our dining here, thanks to the attentive staff, the food and above all the atmosphere.
