Beaulieu House (Sembawang Seafood Paradise)

The Laksa was excellent, with a rich, aromatic broth that was packed with flavour and had just the right balance of spice and creaminess. The Hokkien Mee was incredibly tasty, with well-seasoned noodles and a satisfying wok-hei aroma that made every bite enjoyable. The Soy Sauce Chicken was another standout dish — tender, juicy, and wonderfully smooth, with a savoury soy sauce flavour that was neither too salty nor overpowering. Overall, a very satisfying meal with every dish prepared to a high standard. Definitely worth coming back for! 👍🍜🍗

Visited Beaulieu House (Sembawang Seafood Paradise) for a weekend dinner. The restaurant is located inside a park, with a short walk from the car park. It’s easy to spot thanks to its distinctive black-and-white colonial-style building, which gives the place a nice, nostalgic charm. We ordered the half soy sauce chicken ($22), small homemade beancurd ($16), small broccoli with black fungus ($18), Nonya asam fish head with extra vegetables ($44), and small ee fu noodles ($18). Total bill came up to $158 including drinks. All the dishes were good, but the standout was definitely the asam fish head. The gravy had a well-balanced mix of tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet flavours, with a rich depth that made it very appetising. It wasn’t overly heavy, and the added vegetables soaked up the sauce nicely. The ee fu noodles were also well done, not soggy, cooked just right with a nice flavour throughout. Service was great. Staff were attentive and helpful throughout the meal. Overall, a very good experience. Would come back again for the asam fish head. The staff also mentioned that their curry fish head is even better, which gives me another reason to return lol!

My family and I have visited this restaurant two times already, once on 18 April 2026 and once today, on 24 April 2026. The food here never fails to impress us. The collagen soup here is very addictive and hugs you like comfort food. The duck has such a rich taste with the crispiness and the fried rice are all very good tasting. However, the agilo oilo is bland and can be improved. Other than that, the staff's service was also very grand and polite, even politely giving recommendations to newcomers. I would recommend everyone to come here and eat the delicious food in a comforting setting.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my family! All the dishes we ordered were really delicious and well prepared. The only small downside was the Sambal Sotong — the portion was a little small and the taste was just average compared to the other dishes. We especially loved their house sambal chilli. It was really flavourful and something you hardly find outside nowadays! The staff were also very friendly and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place for a family meal. We truly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back again!

The restaurant is a beautiful Western-style building, located right on the beach in Sembawang Park – a fantastic location. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. You can see the beach directly from the windows. The owner and staff are very welcoming. They offer a wide variety of dishes, including Western, Chinese, and other cuisines. I didn't order much; it cost about 30 ringgit per person. Considering it's the only restaurant in the park and the atmosphere, I think the price is acceptable. Thanks to the owner, I was able to find the Malaysian hornbill I wanted to photograph. It was in a large tree right next to the restaurant.

Made reservations over the phone, table was ready but 1 high chair requested was not prepared. Good but not great. Between 2-3 stars but removed 1 for error drama, removed another 1 for pricey dishes. Won’t return. Severely understaffed, small portions. We ordered medium or large for 12pax but everything is tiny. Food was actually quite delicious but not say “AMAZINGMUSTRETURN”. Not aircon area but was not warm. Buyer beware, place was charming and you pay for it. The collagen soup was 96$ (are you mad) Egg fried rice was 22$ literally rice egg and corn. Pulut hitam with ice cream was passable. We ordered coconut cream but they gave ice cream. (Score!) Anyway surely their kitchen just have bad system or workers are tripping like mad. Drama: Ordered 2 yuzu; but 2 barley came. No event here. Ordered 2 yam paste; 3 came. We started eating but didn’t touch the 3rd one. Multiple scanned the qr to order; we didn’t know how many we ordered. One lady came to us saying they served 3 instead of 2; asked to pay for 3rd one. We said but we didn’t order it nor did we touch it. Then she said let me check the bill. (???) it said 2x. Multiple elders at our table wanted to flip the table. We laughed that why don’t she just serve us whatever she can’t sell, and ask us to pay. What a weird place. Severely understaffed. Made each staff wants to just serve the guests as efficiently as possible without thinking of customer service. No offence to the owners but too bad.

Restaurant is a nostalgic rustic beauty so different from mall chains and over-priced eateries with some view. This place gives you the entire Sembawang Park, beach and clear view of Johor! We felt so well taken care of by the very warm, welcoming and helpful wait team and manager Daniel who made our lunch so memorable. Chicken satay was tender and bite-sized. Soft soy steamed halibut with tofu is easy on the tummy too and the sweet pumpkin slices in the cereal prawns made the dish less sinful. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Tucked away in Sembawang lies this heritage gem — once home to admirals and engineers — the charming Beaulieu House now serves admirable dishes that’ll have your taste buds standing at attention! We indulged in slurp-worthy Hokkien Prawn Mee full of wokhei and umami! Fresh curry fish head with gravy so delicious, 1 bowl of rice is not enough. The Succulent Hainanese Pork Chop with its amazing crispy batter is a crowd favorite! The Hearty Pork Knuckle in Vinegar and Sesame Chicken was flavourful and provided comfort with every bite.
