Great seaside ambience with lovely sunset views, making it a nice spot to unwind over drinks and dinner. Food-wise, it was slightly above average overall. The standout for me was definitely the chicken thighs — so good that I ended up ordering a few rounds. The other dishes were d ecent but didn't quite reach the same level. The bill can add up pretty quickly, though to be fair, we also polished off a few beer towers during the visit. What truly impressed me was the service. The team was warm, friendly and attentive throughout, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The only downside is the location. It's quite tucked away and feels very deep in, which may be a drawback for some. That said, the secluded setting also contributes to the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views.

Saw this place on tiktok so we decided to try it on a Saturday night. The place has a nice izikaya vibes. It’s a good place to hang especially in a pleasant weather. The food is fine and had great potential. The service was a little slow, though the staff was polite when we flagged them down. It took almost 2 hours for our 7 sticks skewer order and they served your orders one by one which kills the vibe for a pleasant meal. When we approached the Uncle pouring beer on the bar (looks like the owner) that it’s almost 2 hours and our order still haven’t serve, he got annoyed and told us it’s pretty normal. When we says it’s not normal and not acceptable, he still argues that it is normal and didn’t even apologize. Other customers also got impatient and cancelled their orders. This place has a potential but got a management issues. It’s not huge enough yet they can’t handle the order.

This Izakaya has a fantastic ambience and is located within th Yacht Club with beautiful views of the yachts and waterfront. It’s especially enjoyable during sunset when the breeze picks up, making the alfresco dining experience even more pleasant. Despite being mainly outdoor seating, there are sufficient fans to keep the place breezy, which helps with comfort. In terms of pricing, it is on the steeper side for an izakaya, but you are paying partly for the setting and atmosphere. Food quality is decent and we had some hits and some dishes which we found quite average. A couple of practical tips: do bring mosquito patches, especially if you’re dining with kids. Also, it’s advisable to place all your orders early rather than adding on later, as food generally take some time to be served. We came on a Saturday night and the place was quite crowded, so a reservation is highly recommended if you plan to visit.

Had a chill indoor lunch here. The ambiance is cozy, though it can get a bit warm when the sun glares directly into the restaurant. Food Highlights: Aburi Shimesaba: A absolute must-try from the aburi menu. It has a fantastic, sharp, tangy flavor from the vinegared prep. Kushiyaki Skewers: We tried the Negima (with leek), pork belly, and pork collar. The pork skewers were a touch oversalted, but the overall char and smoky flavor were awesome. Shima Hokke Yaki: Beautifully grilled, very tender, and absolutely delightful.

Had high expectations for this place because the food looked great online, but unfortunately it didn't taste nearly as good as it looked. The service was subpar. They could have been more polite and attentive. The overall hospitality just felt lacking. The food was mostly average, and the waiting time was surprisingly long despite the restaurant not being full. The skewers were the highlight of the meal, flavourful and perfectly grilled. The Kani Tama Gratin tasted like mush with random bits of vegetables and pasta, definitely would not recommend. The garlic butter fried rice lacked garlic flavour and prawn was overcooked. The kitsune udon was decent but the tempura was too oily. The atmosphere was undoubtedly the best part. The seaside view, cool breeze, and golden hour created a lovely setting. Overall, the ambience was great, but the food and service didn't live up to expectations.

Food: Pork belly has no meat. So lots of collagen for those lovers but not for me. Saba set is good. I am busy killing mosquito (killed two and saw another one), chasing houselies and checking out the ants not crawling to my food. I don't want to count the number of mozzie bumps I have as I had to mopiko all over me. Not for girls that are prone to mosquito bites. Come at own risk.

Visited on Sunday late afternoon. The place was quiet with only a few tables occupied, which was great for a relaxed, non-noisy meal. Service was exceptionally good, attentive and proactive. Nice waterfront view too, though there were some mosquitoes; staff placed mosquito coils, which helped. We ordered garlic butter fried rice ($19), chawanmushi ($5.80), 7-pcs yakitori omakase ($30), raw oysters ($12.80), additional assorted skewers ($4.80–$5.80 each), and two draft beers. The food was good overall, with nice charcoal aroma and simple salt seasoning. Portions for some skewers, like bonjiri, felt a little small for the price. The standout was the chicken liver skewer, creamy, smooth, slight bitterness, lightly seasoned to bring out its richness (not for everyone, but well done). Total bill came to about $136. Overall, a good experience and would recommend, especially if you prefer a quieter izakaya setting.

Nice seaside atmosphere, but that is the only good thing here. Food is decent. Service was terrible and this is 100% a management failure. Waited over 1 hour for food. Dishes came out about 15 minutes apart, which completely ruins the dining experience. Multiple tables around us were complaining too, so clearly this is a regular issue. Spoke to the waitress. She was polite and apologetic. She explained there is only ONE skew stove in the entire restaurant, so a 1 hour wait is considered normal. That is honestly ridiculous for a restaurant this size, especially on a Saturday night. Management clearly did not plan properly. Insufficient kitchen equipment Not enough manpower Staff were visibly stressed, running around, and forced to brush off customers. Everyone was frustrated, diners and servers alike. This place is clearly not equipped to handle its own crowd. Most customers are probably first timers, because after this kind of experience, I highly doubt anyone would return. Great location wasted by poor operations. Would give 4 stars if management isn't this ridiculous
