Twofold

Went with high expectations after reading a few positive reviews. But the pizzas were decided mid. They serve by the slice, which is great for having a taste of different kinds of pizzas, but the slices themselves are a bit small for the price. Tried the mushroom, pineapple and the salami. The base was slightly different on each, with the salami being a lot thinner. They were all a touch flat, with no option to add your own sprinkles (like oregano, flakes, etc) . They do have their own chilli sauce which we didn't order assuming we could add at least some 'regular' sprinkles. They have pre-prepared pizzas which they reheat/complete which I guess explains the fatness. On the seating, it's outdoors and free for all with some rather unweildy high chairs like bar stools. Again emphasizing the "snack"y nature of the place. Reasonable place for a quick snack, wouldn't really go there for a full dinner.

Really nice spot for a drink and a slice. You have to come early to this place as once they sell out of a particular slice there isn’t any more for that day. We tried the cheese pizza and the mushroom pizza on this outing and both were very good. Crunch in the crust was perfect with the right amount of chew. Good 2 for 1 drinks on this particular day. Next time I need to be there when they have sausage slices. Yum!

Twofold is the latest concept by the team behind micro bakery, serving NY-style sourdough pizza by the slice. Located at Serene Centre, it’s a nice spot for a casual meal with comfortable alfresco seating and a small rotating menu of four pizza flavours. We tried the Mushroom ($8) and the monthly special Pancetta Pineapple ($9). The sourdough crust was excellent - thin, crisp, and sturdy enough to hold all the toppings without going limp. The mushroom was our favourite, with a great balance of savoury, earthy, and slightly sweet flavours, finished with a drizzle of hot honey that tied everything together beautifully. The pancetta pineapple was enjoyable too, with savoury pancetta balanced by tangy, spiced pineapple and bell peppers. We added stracciatella (+$1), which made the slice even creamier. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu ($9) which was another winner. It wasn’t overly sweet, with Baileys-infused coffee soaking into the sponge, topped with creamy mascarpone and crunchy chocolate soil for textural contrast. The sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top was a nice touch, though they could do with a pinch more. 📸 For more food reviews, check out @hangry.potatoo on instagram.

my 4th time eating here since i live nearby, but just want to give a special shoutout! one of the staff accepted my 20% off voucher even though it was expired by a few days. please support them they are so nice and this mushroom hot honey pizza is the best i’ve had in sg!!

What a pleasant surprise to find NY style Twofold pizzas at the newly "renovated" serene center.. the vibes, sheltered seatings (thank God) and many "refurbished" brands... Finn and the team are rocking the huge delicious pies by slices. As a pizza lover, I can't stop myself from craving for it that I had made a trip 2 days straight for the pizzas. I don't particularly rate a Pizzeria in Singapore. But I would say Twofold is Fantastic, and I hope more people will fall in love with this NY style concept. To many more pizzas twofold team.. Ps: Buttttt please take off pineapples on the pizza.. (my fake Italian blood in me can't stand it)

Some of the best pizza in the west of Singapore. Or dare I say in Singapore itself. I think Singaporeans get too obsessed with toppings and flavour, when a pizza with actual proper dough is one of the most important factors. But not only does twofold get their dough right (I don't expect any less since they are part of micro bakery ), their toppings and combinations are amazing as well. And clearly a lot of R&D went into putting them together! The service also is top of the line even though it's a "takeout" concept. I love it when places feel like a second home where you can just chill out and be yourself knowing you aren't judged and always welcomed.

We went to Twofold for the first time, the staff were very friendly and recommended the flavors to us. We end up getting 3 pizza slices: Tomato, Mushroom, and Italian Sausage. All of them are nice, especially the mushroom one, the only thing is when it gets cold the crust becomes a bit hard to chew. Guess what, we also got a complimentary slice! When we were collecting pizza, the staff gave us an extra slice (green goddess) and said it’s on the house. Actually if I were to rank the pizza flavors, the green goddess might be 2nd. The slushy is refreshing, not too sweet. There are free seatings in front of the shop, but only fans, so might be a bit hot. However it’s a nice place to sit and chat after dinner. Maybe because it’s around botanic gardens, there are some mosquitos at night, and also it’s open area. It’s a place I’ll visit again, very pleasant experience, food + friendly staff + good vibe = happiness. Hope to discover more flavors in the future!

Ordered for pickup. Was running slightly late and staff was concerned about the quality! Tasted so good for takeaway. Love the truffle mushroom pizza! Will try it fresh next time!
