📍Sapore Italian Restaurant Back for round two at Sapore and it still delivers. The food is great, but the warm, attentive service really steals the show. 💖 I tried the new menu this time 👉 perfectly al dente pasta and seabass with a Tom Yum twist. The Fish & chips is a must-order and if you’re into thin crust pizza, don’t skip the sharing plate. I’m pretty sure this won’t be our last visit! #tiramisoooo #tramisoooojiaks #jiakjiakjiak #saporesg #utown

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sapore Italian at UTown, NUS is such a lovely spot to unwind and recharge. I stopped by for a mini pizza paired with a coffee, and it was exactly what I needed — the pizza was freshly made with a nicely crisp base, good cheese-to-sauce balance, and just the right portion for a light meal. The coffee complemented it well, smooth and comforting. What really elevates this place is the atmosphere. Surrounded by the NUS campus, there’s an inspiring vibe of knowledge, creativity, and youthful energy in the air. It’s a great place to sit back, enjoy good food, and soak in the campus buzz — whether you’re a student, staff, or just visiting. Clean, cozy, and welcoming, with a relaxed Italian café feel. Highly recommended for a casual bite or coffee break at UTown. Will definitely be back! 🇮🇹☕🍕

Sapore used to have an outlet in NUS previously, and I remembered the food being great with decent set meal deals. When I saw that Sapore had returned to NUS in 2026 after being away for some time, I was genuinely excited and eager to try it again. Unfortunately, this experience turned out to be very disappointing. Prices have increased significantly, there was a clear lack of manpower during the lunch crowd, and the food quality has declined. While I understand that they may still be facing teething issues as a recently reopened outlet, my dish was prepared incorrectly, and even after it was remade, it was served with the wrong type of pasta. I ordered the Carbonara (Plain) at $11, while my friend ordered the Aglio Olio (Plain) at $9. Add-ons such as smoked chicken ($3) and mixed mushrooms ($1.80) were charged separately, making the dishes feel overpriced for both the portion and quality. In terms of taste, the Aglio Olio was very oily, and both pastas lacked flavour. We had to add a lot of Tabasco just to make them more palatable, which was disappointing given the price point. In addition, there was a promotion offering a free dessert upon signing up for their membership, but when we asked to redeem it, we were told that the promotion had not started yet, which was confusing and disappointing. Overall, this is nothing like the Sapore I remember from before. Had I known the current price range, quality, and experience, I would not have returned. Even with the 30% opening discount, it was not very worth it. I would rather keep the good memories of how Sapore used to be.

This Italian restaurant located at the heart of National University of Singapore, in Utown, have pleasantly surprised us. They offer very delicious, healthy and large-sized dishes at quite a relatively low price (with discounts for students). The dishes were beautifully served and were prepared quite quickly. I ordered the smoked salmon spaghetti which was very tasty but could use a little more flavour, so I added some spice (I asked for cheese but it is chargeable). The chicken chop was very big and absolutely perfect - it is flavourful and so soft to cut, and I especially liked the fact that it is entirely boneless. It comes with a choice of rice, pasta, or salad. The rice was plain white rice, next time I will opt for the pasta. The seatings were clean and pretty spacious. However, it was quite loud and noisy due to chatter coming from some corporate dinner happening there at the time. But despite it, our experience at the restaurant was pretty good. We were offered two free drinks for paying with PayNow too! The atmosphere in the restaurant is fine too. Overall, a good experience and would definitely recommend anyone interested in Italian food 🇮🇹 to try it out!

Good Italian food, pizza, pasta & desert. And good service. Nice ambience with both indoor & outdoor Al Fresca dining. The weekday sets for staff & students comes with one main & drink. There many options for side add-ons. The small Italianissima Salad is good & so was the small soup of the day which was pumpkin soup. Top up a couple of dollars to change my canned drink for a Bundaberg Root Beer 👍🏼 Our main al carte orders were Spaghetti Carbonara 👍🏼 Risotto La Luna 👍🏼 Tagliatelle Mama Mia 👍🏼 regular sized Italianissima salad that came with green olives 👍🏼 Lasagna Alla Bolognese 👍🏼 Salmon Alla Crema Di Pesto👌🏼 which was done medium; we would order again next visit with request for medium rare 👍🏼 Tagliolini Bolognese 👍🏼 Italian Gelato Sorbet 👍🏼👍🏼 Ordered take away too. Pizza Gustova 👍🏼😃 We would return again. Good food indeed 😃

Hidden Italian restaurant gem at NUS U Town. The food is prepared using fresh ingredients and chef is one of the best here. Ambience is great with clean spread out area. The staff is super friendly and willing to serve you. All times they are happy to listen to your needs and help to convey to the chef for your special requests. A great place to chill and enjoy Italian food and drinks 🍸🍷 and desserts 🍮 🧁 🍨. Plenty of carpark available at the nearby basement covered area. Would highly recommend this place for you alone, family, large groups,or gatherings. The place is reasonably priced and heard they don’t have service charges. Try to confirm the my review on taste, service, food, choices, and price. Don’t forget to try their mushroom soup and garlic bread.

Really authentic Italian restaurant hidden within a school campus, and price is quite affordable too!! Pizzas are a must try, thin crust so it's not too filling, good for sharing. Ordered the truffle one which was yummy!! One of the best I've had. Pastas too are made in-house, so texture is really good too!! Tiramisu and gelato are also both musthave desserts. Will definitely be back! And the restaurant manager, Jim, is super welcoming to all his guests, and very helpful. Hard to encounter such service nowadays.
