A Memorable 10th Anniversary Dinner at Pietro Ristorante Italiano Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5 My wife and I recently celebrated our 10th relationship anniversary at Pietro Ristorante Italiano, opting for their 3-course meal, and it turned out to be an absolute delight from start to finish. * Appetiser: We kicked off the meal with the Blue Swimmer Crab Bisque. Rich, deeply flavorful, and beautifully presented with a drizzle of cream and fresh herbs, it was a warm and comforting start that set a high standard for the rest of the evening. * Main Courses: For our mains, I chose the Spaghetti al Nero di seppia (squid ink pasta), which was packed with robust seafood flavors, tender pieces, and elevated by a delicate sprinkle of crab meat and cheese. My wife had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, a creamy, indulgent classic coated in a rich, velvety sauce with generous bits of bacon/pancetta. Both plates were expertly cooked and utterly satisfying. * Dessert: We finished on a sweet note with the Tiramisu Classico. Served with a cute branded restaurant flag, a fresh strawberry, and a blueberry on top, the layers of rich coffee-soaked ladyfingers and smooth mascarpone cream were light yet decadent, the ultimate sweet ending to our milestone celebration. Pietro Ristorante Italiano offered a warm ambience, attentive service, and delicious food that made our 10th anniversary truly special. We left with full stomachs and wonderful memories. Highly recommended for date nights and special occasions!

Pietro delivered a good meal overall, with a few dishes standing above the rest. The Blue Swimmer Crab Bisque was rich, briny and deeply flavoured, though another splash of cognac would've added a little more depth. The Wild Mushroom Soup was creamy without being cloying, packed with mushroom flavour and subtle truffle notes, while the mushroom pieces added a satisfying bite. The Insalata di Rucola was a pleasant twist on the classic, with mushrooms and crushed pecans bringing extra texture. The standout was the Spaghetti Aglio Olio Frutti di Mare. Perfectly al dente spaghetti was coated in a lightly emulsified garlic sauce that still let the EVOO shine. The prawns, clams and squid were all cooked spot on. The Carpaccio di Manzo was a little overworked for my liking. The mayonnaise and olives distracted from what should've been the star — the beef itself. The Pizza Prosciutto di Parma had a beautifully blistered, thin crust with smoky notes, while the Porchetta was tender, juicy, well-seasoned with herbs, and crowned with a crispy crackling. Dessert ended on a high with a rum-forward Tiramisu that was confidently made without becoming overpowering. Two things held the experience back. The dining room was rather noisy, making conversation difficult, and the air-conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable. A solid 3.5/5. Good Italian cooking with flashes of excellence, but still a few details away from being a place I'd actively seek out again.

Went with a group during lunch, enjoyed their 1 for 1 Waiting time was acceptable, other than Pizza and Salmon around 20-30mins. But food was amazing and yummy Recommend to visit during their lunch promo! Their 1-1 menus are quite extensive too, great deal😍

always walked past Pietro as its near our home parish — finally took the leap of faith & treated my fiance and i to an italian sunday lunch, and we are glad we did! The ambience was nostalgic & the servers were attentive. we walked-in at around 12pm & it was not so full, so plenty of seats to be served. we’d rate all 3 dishes that we ordered a high 8.5-9/10 as each dish was clearly seasoned & the taste superb!!!!!! my fiance is a hardcore italian food fan so seeing him happy with the dishes showed that this place is rly worth the visit. my drink, iced latte, tasted really good too - to my surprise 😅 we’ll definitely revisit & try more dishes! thanks for the great service, your young servers are doing very well :-)

For the area, the choices are 👍🏼. I especially enjoyed their coffee and cappuccino, and the tiramisu made with Baileys was a delightful touch 😋. One of the staff members was particularly friendly and hospitable.

This used to be my go to Italian place since 10+ years ago. Sadly, tonight is the last time I will be patronising here. Pietro has been on a steady decline and it has gone past the point of return for me. I ordered 2 items: 1. Pizza Bismarck - my favourite pizza on their menu. I loved how you could dip the pizza on a sunny side up in the middle for that umami burst. Unfortunately, the amount of ingredients used for this pizza has been reducing year by year, faster than an adult male would lose his hair. For tonight, all I got was one slice of ham (which they generously divided into pieces for each pizza slice), one egg, some cubes of cheese, and arugula. I guess as a consolation, they still give the amount of arugula as they did years ago. 2. Spaghetti Bolognese - I used to believe this place served one of the better ragù in town. But what I got tonight was just sad - no sign of any soffrito, minimal amounts of ground meat, and large amounts of tomato sauce. Making it the typical “tomato paste base” that you can find served at any other cafe or restaurant in Singapore. And to top it off, the amount of pasta given made it feel like I was digging for scraps amongst a heap of tomatoes. For 2 items, we paid close to $60. Had they been more generous with their ingredients this would be a great price for dining out. Maybe it would still do if you patronise them for their 1 for 1 lunch. Goodbye Pietro, you’ll be missed.

Generally, the place is good. Can go back again to try some of their foods. 8/10 Food: Our orders tasted good. The portion was okay. Good for sharing. There were only 2 of us and we still had take-aways. Fries were real potatoes, not those frozen ones. Calamari was soft, not chewy or gummy. It was perfect. Pizza was good too, on the bigger side. The ravioli seafood pasta with pink sauce was great. It is a deviation from our usual pasta orders and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lastly, a usual tiramisu 😅 Price: A lil expensive I say. We paid 142sgd (inc service and gst) for all the food in the photo. Service: The staffs were attentive. I like that they kept refiling out water 💯. No complains. Atmosphere: Personally, I feel like the place was dim. Maybe just the light placement really. Nonetheless, the place was clean and spacious. Also, tables and chairs were wide enough which I liked. P.S. Apologies about the messed up fries. My bf doesn’t like mayo (truffle mushroom sauce got mayo 😵💫) so I had to separate the fries touched by the sauce.

This was our first visit to this Italian restaurant, and we received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent, and we were very impressed by the quality of the authentic Italian dishes. Since we travel often, it's hard to say when we'll be back, but we'll definitely be there again at the first opportunity. As always, I was very surprised by all these thoughtful little touches. There must be something ingrained in the walls. An excellent meal, delicious dishes, an unforgettable moment.
