Trapizza

We chose Tripizza because it was advertised as pet-friendly and wanted to celebrate both my friend’s dog’s birthday and my own birthday there. Writing this to help fellow pawrents make an informed decision before visiting. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to the restaurant’s pet seating policy. It was an extremely hot day, and our group was assigned two outdoor tables with no fan while the sun was shining directly in. The heat was honestly unbearable for both humans and dogs. We asked if we could move to the sheltered outdoor area that had fans, but were told that only humans could sit there and the dogs had to remain outside in the heat. As pet owners, this felt very uncomfortable and quite unfair. If a place promotes itself as pet-friendly, there should at least be a comfortable and safe seating arrangement for pets too. To be fair, the food was not bad and the service staff were okay, but the policy itself really affected the overall experience. Had we known beforehand, we would likely have chosen another venue for the celebration. In the end, we had to quickly finish our food we ordered and took our cake to celebrate else where. Would suggest fellow pawrents check the seating arrangements carefully before making a reservation.

We wanted to celebrate our furiend’s bark day there because they advertised themselves as pet-friendly and welcoming to pets. However, to our surprise, despite having such a huge outdoor area, only 2 tables at the corner were allocated for pets — and there wasn’t even a fan. When we enquired, they mentioned that humans could sit under the fan area, but pets had to remain outside in the non-fan area due to their restaurant policy. We even shared that outdoor pet-friendly dining no longer requires a licence according to current regulations, but they insisted on keeping to their policy. Although we enjoyed the food, both the humans and dogs were extremely uncomfortable from the heat. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend pet owners to bring their fur kids there, especially during warm weather. It was simply too hot for both pets and owners to enjoy the experience comfortably.

We recently celebrated a colleague’s birthday at Trapizza, and it was a wonderful experience. The pizzas were excellent as always — Trapizza never fails to deliver on quality. The staff went above and beyond, especially Mr. Eidi, who kindly provided extra plates, a lighter for the candles, and even complimentary ice cream. These thoughtful touches made a big impact on our celebration. Thank you, Trapizza, for the great ambience and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back in the future!.

We had a wonderful experience at Trapizza! The food was great, but what truly made our visit special was our server, Eidil. He was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our meal, and he went out of his way to take such good care of our children. His warm and friendly attitude made us feel very welcome. This place is also perfect for families—there’s a sandy play area and a fountain where kids can have fun while parents relax. It made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Eidil, for your excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Come for the Food – Stay for the View Visit Date: 25 January 2026 The servers wear T-shirts printed with “Come for the food – Stay for the view.” I’d make a small adjustment: come for the food, stay for the ambience. Unless you’re seated right by the beach fence, the sea view is partially obstructed by other tables and sun umbrellas. But in truth, it hardly matters. A gentle sea breeze, a near-festive buzz of happy diners out for the evening, and attentive servers weaving efficiently between tables create a warm, relaxed atmosphere. You start unwinding almost the moment you sit down. Food We ordered a pizza and a burger to share. As I’m not particularly fond of red sauce, we opted for the Pinsa Milano with a rich saffron sauce, and it paid off. The thin, slightly crispy crust pizza with a hint of sweetness in the sauce paired beautifully with the mozzarella and parmesan, complementing the braised, savoury, juicy shredded beef. Paper-thin garlic flakes added an extra layer of flavour that made every bite interesting. The Manzo Wagyu Burger came with a thick, juicy grilled patty, bacon slices, onion, tomato, lettuce, and cheese, alongside generous potato wedges and tomato ketchup. Personally, I felt a touch of sweetness, perhaps caramelised onions, might have worked better than raw onion. Still, a quick baste of mayo and sweet chilli sauce on the bun did the trick nicely. Both the pizza and burger paired well with a medium-bodied Tempus Two Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass. I was also on the lookout for a lower-sugar soft drink, and the Ginger Ale (a Nutri-Grade B option) turned out to be a good choice. Service We booked a table earlier in the day via Chope and were promptly ushered past the queue waiting for walk-in seats. Ordering through the QR code was seamless, and the food arrived quickly. We were served by Guo Wei, who was attentive and efficient. When I asked for mayo or chilli sauce for the wedges, he returned almost immediately with both and later kindly helped pack our leftovers. It was a very pleasant evening. This was our second visit. The first one, several years ago, remains a blur, except for a large jug of Singapore Sling. Safe to say, this place deserves a spot on our regular rotation.

Came here on a Sunday evening! We sat outdoors as the weather was cooling by then. The tables were spread out pretty well such that it doesn’t feel too claustrophobic. Food was amazing - we ordered 1 Pizza Prosciutto and 1 squid ink spaghetti with vongole. I personally prefer thin crust which was perfect and the generosity was the Parma ham made it satisfying. But the pasta beats the pizza. The spaghetti’s texture was unique and felt homemade. The sauce was reduced well and the overall dish was so delightful. My only wish was that they have made the portion slightly bigger! Service was okay but not amazing. Slightly strange that the cups used for water ($3 by the way) are beer cups. Overall, I enjoyed the food and I’m really fond of the pasta. I’d recommend for others to come try the food.

Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside—less dense than traditional pizza. That is what a Pinsa is ( attached is a pic of an original Roma pinsa) If you're going to sell that, pls make sure its done right or similar. What we had was literally an overcooked hard dough. Taste was good coz the veggies & cheeses were delicious, the dough was inedible. Try better especially if you have an Italian pizzaiolo working. Grazie!

Disappointing experience here. Tried to book for on the day online but appeared full as we cld only book a day ahead. Funny given how quickly tables turn over, we certainly saw opportunity for extra bookings on the day. Not sure if you cld walk in. We were sat at a table, told how to order using the QR, no offer of water for the table at all and were left to ourselves, so we assumed you needed to order it. No free water on the menu, so we ordered bottled water instead. The service was poor, staff standing round taking photos of the sunset not really paying attention to tables, I had to go find someone to wipe down our table. When someone did start to clear, they took 2 things and never returned! So many staff on as well! The food was ok, pizza was really nice the steak was overcooked to order and the vegetables was a lump of sliced eggplant, that's all which is great if you like it. Overall for a Shangri-La venue with Shangri-La prices we expected more from the service and attention to customers. Wouldn't really recommend it.
