been here 5+ times and it’s always been a good experience. drinks are unique and utilise indian flavour very well to give a wide variety of drinks, be it spiced/sweet/savoury etc. i love their ramu’s fizz as someone that enjoys something more creamy and sweet, and it’s honestly one of my favourite cocktails of all time. their food is great too, especially the okra fries!! even when it gets crowded service is also always friendly, and they do offer welcome shots/drinks each time i visited

Just when I thought nothing in Singapore could surprise me, I stumble upon a place where Indian cuisine is presented in liquid form. Yes, yes: drinks. Carefully considered, every drop of the ingredient makes them works of bartending art. Served in an extraordinary way, even the paper on which the menu is printed is exceptional. A conversation with the author and refreshments from the establishment were a pleasant complement.

Staff give priority to the most guest. After they have moved to new location. Is my first time here. There’s an empty table but I’m not allow to sit. He said” if there’s 2 pax I need to move back to standing at the front. I came here for experience not experience of drinking standing. Worst service experience. Yes I get it is busy on Sunday night. Rushed me to order drink? Not once but twice.

Finally made it to The Elephant Room after all these years, and I’m still wondering how it never crossed my path earlier. Especially when the name alone should’ve pulled me in. I like that it doesn’t try to be a typical cocktail bar. The drinks are bold, full of character, and lean heavily into Indian-inspired flavours. You can tell there’s a lot of thought behind each one. “THICC” stood out for me — slightly dessert-like but still balanced, with a really unique flavour profile. The ghee sour was another one I kept thinking about after, rich but surprisingly easy to drink. Food is very straightforward, which I think works well for the space. It’s a simple hot dog menu where you choose your toppings, served with fries. Proper bar food. I had mine with achar and it added a nice tangy kick, and the fries were really good. Overall, it’s a really fun place to visit, especially if you enjoy trying something a little different. I can see myself coming back with friends just to explore more of the menu.

Ended up here out of curiosity and left impressed. The cocktails are bold, creative, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. Definitely a place for anyone who enjoys trying something beyond the usual cocktail menu. I’ll be back to explore more of their creations. 🍸

Wow... it's been a long time since I've been to a bar this noisy... I don't think it will be easy for me to go to loud bars frequented by young people anymore, haha. I ordered a Ramos Fizz, and it was a fascinating spice Ramos with notes of cumin, pepper, and nutmeg. I highly recommend it if you want to experience a unique and interesting flavor. It really felt like India, which was so much fun. However... I probably won't go a second time. Not because I dislike it, but because it was just too intense... I do recommend you visit at least once. I ended up going to this bar based on a recommendation because the wait at Jigger & Pony was too long.

The Elephant Room is easily one of the best cocktail bars in Singapore, and honestly, a cultural icon at this point. Been around 7 years which is kind of crazy in Singapore’s challenging and ever-changing F&B scene. They’re consistently proving themselves while staying true to who they are. I respect how they never felt the need to keep reinventing themselves or chase trends just to stay relevant. They kept innovating in their own way and manage to surprise every time. It’s always been rooted in culture. The cocktails are bold and proudly Indian. You don’t come here to play it safe. You come here for flavours that actually make you pause mid-sip and go “omg that’s really good.” I had that moment with the Ghee Sour on their new menu, their take on the classic whiskey sour, made with ghee and yoghurt, and that curry leaf aroma ties everything together. Ghee sounds shocking in a cocktail but they made it work, it’s clean and rich at the same time like it shouldn’t make sense but it does I cannot even explain you have to just try it. Lately they simplified the food menu and kept it tight, just hotdogs, customisable in multiple ways. You pick your protein (they even have a tofu option) and choose your flavour toppings. Indian spices and flavours packed into something fun, messy, and way more satisfying than you’d expect. In a city where bars come and go, they’ve stayed solid for 7 years and built a real identity. Not just another cocktail spot, but something that actually represents culture in a way that feels honest.

This bar offers a truly unique and interesting concept, featuring cocktails inspired by the distinct flavors of Indian cuisine. Rather than traditional sweet drinks, the menu explores savory profiles. A standout example is the "Chicken Curry," which is a cocktail that surprisingly captures the essence and spices of the actual dish. The service is commendable, as the staff take the time to carefully explain the ingredients and the concept behind each unique creation, ensuring you understand what to expect. I visited on a Thursday night, and the atmosphere was vibrant and lively. The venue attracted a diverse, international crowd, with customers constantly coming and going throughout the evening. It is an excellent choice for those looking to experience something experimental and different from a standard cocktail bar.
