Daily Beer (Telok Ayer)

We came on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty quiet. There were probably only 2 or 3 other tables occupied. We ordered the sweet garlic soy boneless chicken and the angry bird honey golden boneless chicken, along with spam fries for sides and some craft beer. Good: - the boneless chicken was crunchy and the meat was tender - the staff preempted us that all flavours of their chicken, even the original plain fried chicken, are spicy Average: - the spam fries were decent but average Bad: - the chicken seasoning was way too heavy, for both flavours that we chose

I love that the chicken is fried only after you place your order—nothing beats food that's served piping hot. The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with flavour, making it the highlight of the meal. We ordered one chicken along with a few small bites, and it was enough to comfortably share among three people. That said, the chicken portion was a little smaller than I expected given the price. Even so, I still felt it offered good value overall because of the quality and taste. As for the beer, it was fairly standard on its own and didn't particularly stand out. However, paired with the fried chicken, it really came together beautifully (classic Korean drama fried chicken-and-beer experience). Overall, a satisfying meal that I'd happily return for ^ ^

Incredibly crispy and flavorful! Daily Beer is a must-visit spot if you appreciate properly executed Korean fried chicken. The chicken served here is spectacular. The crunch factor is unreal—even with the delicious, sweet-savory glaze coated over it, it manages to stay crisp. The powdered seasoning option is equally fantastic, offering a great balance of sweet and savory notes without being overpowering. The portions are generous and the chicken is served piping hot, juicy, and tender on the inside.

Its my 3rd time here, to get my chicken and beer fix. If you're looking for authentic Korean 'Chimaek' (chicken and beer), this is the spot! I highly recommend the Half-Half Chicken so you can try two flavours-the Original Angry Bird is incredibly crunchy and juicy, while the Black (soy garlic) has perfect sweet-salty glaze. We also loved the Premium Fish Cake Soup, which was super comforting with the shrimp skewers. The craft beer selection is impressive; the Beer Flight is a must-try if you want to sample different brews like the smooth Seoul Weizen. Great vibes, funky disco decor, and prompt service. Definitely coming back again!

One of the best Korean fried chicken meals we have had in awhile. Raved by my brother who swears by this, he ordered his regular dishes and all of which were on point. 🍣 the crispy gimbap was the least delicious amongst the rest, though it is unique and is still good on its own 🍙 the tteokboki was one of the best ones we have had, properly spicy and came with a generous amount of sausages too 🍗 the highlight of the meal, the soy garlic variant was my favourite, while my father and wife enjoyed the spicy ones more - the chicken breast was very tender, but was unfortunate we couldn’t get a half chicken extra since the smaller portions are only available in boneless or wings form Definitely a great spot for a Korean fried chicken meal, a strong contender amongst the many in Singapore 👍🏻

Had the fried kimbap, fries, garlic soy chicken. Fries was nice, the cajun type. Garlic soy boneless chicken wqs fried perfectly too, however for the price, it seems quite expensive for the amount given. The winner here is the beer/beverage that's why they are called daily beer I guess. I did not have beer but the menu was exntensive and innovative with all the korean inspired flavours! I had one mocktail or non alcoholic drink... it tasted soooo korean like a korean medicine shop haha. But quite interesting though I could not finish the whole thing.

Came here on a Thursday night while it was raining heavily, and luckily we managed to get a table because the place was seriously packed. We ordered the fried chicken in original and soy garlic flavours. I personally preferred the original flavour because it was crispy on the outside and slightly spicy on the inside, and since there was no sauce it stayed nice and crunchy. That said, after a few pieces it did start to feel a little heavy. The soy garlic version was alright but nothing particularly special. The fish cake soup was decent, though I would have preferred it to be more flavourful as it was a bit bland. As for the drinks, they were okay, mostly just concentrate mixed with sparkling water, nothing too remarkable. Overall, it’s a good spot for Korean fried chicken after work, especially if you want a casual place to hang out. Just be prepared that it can get quite noisy and cramped, which makes conversation a bit harder.
