I recently had the chance to try Ajumma for the first time. Every time I passed by, the restaurant was always full, so I was very excited to finally get a table and order a few dishes. We started with the Ramen Soup. The portion was quite large and the pork was cooked well, but I found the soup to be a bit bland and lacking in flavor. On the other hand, the Spicy Ramen was excellent! It was a very generous serving that could easily be shared between two people. We also ordered the Steamed Egg, which arrived hot and was very delicious. For dessert, we tried the Ice Cream, which came with strawberries and blueberries. It had a very interesting and refreshing taste. We also had a Mochi Pancake; however, I cannot recall the exact name on the menu. Unfortunately, the presentation was not very appealing, and the taste did not quite meet my expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant meal with some hits and misses. I would definitely return for the spicy ramen and the steamed egg!

Ajumma delivers the kind of comfort food that hits immediately, especially if you’re craving something hearty and indulgent. The dish arrives generous and well-layered. Springy noodles sit at the base, coated evenly in a savoury, slightly smoky sauce. On top, the toppings don’t hold back: crispy spam slices with a satisfying crunch, juicy sausages, thick cuts of pork belly with a good fat-to-meat ratio, and a sunny-side egg that brings everything together once you break the yolk. The seaweed and cucumber add contrast, cutting through the richness so it doesn’t feel too heavy. Flavour-wise, it’s bold and comforting rather than refined — the kind of meal that feels satisfying from the first bite to the last. It’s filling, indulgent, and clearly meant to please. Service is friendly and straightforward. Staff Lanie is so attentive without hovering, orders come out in good time, and the overall experience feels relaxed and welcoming — very much in line with the “ajumma” home-style vibe. Overall: Ajumma does solid comfort food with generous portions and reliable service. It’s a great spot when you want something flavourful, filling, and fuss-free — the kind of meal you leave feeling full and content

The service staff WeiYi is outstanding. She is very polite, nice and attentive from the start to the end. Ate the crazy stir-fried spicy ramen. Taste good!! Food is for 2 pax but because of the spicyness, we didnt finish as we were full also from drinking water and eating the corn and raddish side dish to diffuse the spicyness. Despite it being spicy, it was the right amount and wouldn't ask for less spicy(if there is such option) as the the taste may be compromised/differnt. For those who cannot take spicyness, it will be difficult. Our tolerance for spicyness is just slightly above average.

Horrific! Tried out the fried chicken (both garlic soy and spicy sweet) and they are terrible! Sauce alone are not fantastic yet there are not enough to cover the chicken pieces. The actual chicken pieces are so small and coated with lots of batter. Tasteless and texture is worse than my own cooking (and my cooking sucks). Never will there be a worse Korean chicken. The pancake is at best, so so. The udon like noodles soup with pork is ok. I have not tried anything else and hope that I am just unlucky to have picked the worst 3 options (two Korean chicken and the pancake) in the menu. Total came to around $60. Will never ever go back. Next time, I would just order from the tried and tested restaurants.

Lots of good reviews for this and indeed the food is good. Portion is good too. Had the spicy fried ramen, meat reminds me of 腩乳 instead of roast pork. Taste not bad, sauce is not something you can mix at home. Jap chae is with beef, taste good. Steam egg can be better though, bit watery and not ad fragrant. Complimentary hotteok cos there were some hiccups but staff were all friendly. This surprisingly is damn good. Brown sugar is not too sweet and the crust reminds me of chilli crab mantou fragrance, crispy. Lots of other dishes to try.

Had a really satisfying Korean food experience here. The dishes were full of flavour, comforting, and clearly made with care — the kind of food you’d gladly come back for when you’re craving something warm and hearty. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Special mention to Suz, whose service was impeccable. She was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at the right moments and making sure we were well taken care of. Her warmth and professionalism truly elevated the whole dining experience. Definitely a place worth revisiting for both the food and the service.

Every time we visit Northpoint City, we make it a point to dine at Ajuma. The improved dishes and excellent customer service were very evident during our visit today. The staff were very attentive, and the overall experience reminded us of the authentic Korean vibes we enjoyed during our trip to Seoul. A special shout-out to Ms. Suz for her exceptional service. She attended to us diligently and made us feel as if we were dining at home. Her warm smile and admirable professionalism truly deserve recognition. Keep up the great work, Suz—we hope to see you again on our next visit! She ensured all our dining needs were well taken care of, even checking in to see if we wanted another serving of side dishes. 😊

The staff were so lovely and friendly. I came on a Saturday evening close to 9pm and they were still so accommodative. Even though they looked visibly tired but the smiles never left their face 🥰🥰 I ordered ginseng chicken soup. Substantial chicken portion with a little glutinous rice within the chicken cavity. The soup itself was really greasy and oily, but thankfully was mitigated by the generous sprigs of spring onion on top. Did feel my tummy a little queasy from drinking it. But could also be because I went at the end of the day? Banchan is refillable and of a decent quality. Very neat and clean place with a fuss free eating environment. Would be back again to try other dishes.
