ICG CHICKEN & BURGER

Visited this Korean fusion eatery and had a pleasant experience overall. The customer service really stood out, the staff (possibly the owner) was friendly and made an effort to engage in small talk, which was a nice touch. The menu offers a mix of fried chicken, pasta, burgers, and some Korean inspired dishes. While it may not feel fully authentic Korean, the food was tasty and enjoyable. I ordered the cheese chicken, and my kids were especially happy with it, they even commented on how generous the cheese portion was. Portions are good, prices are reasonable, and the overall experience was satisfying. Worth a visit if you’re looking for a casual Korean fusion spot with good service.

First time trying, and I opted for the beef burger. What i liked? It’s really juicy, with an addictive flavor. What I didn’t like? I think the patties are likely generic, highly-processed, artificially-flavored, frozen patties. The mouth feel was like biting into a fish cake; totally unnatural. The buns weren’t fluffy; weren’t buttered or toasted — just dry, cold buns straight out of a plastic bag. ‘Cheese’ was just normal supermarket type as well. Lettuce was… sufficient. Not an appetizing color. I would spend money to eat this again — if I was craving a beef burger in that area. But it is quite pedestrian. Maybe I’ll like their chicken a lot more?

Had the soy garlic and spicy gang jung Korean fried chicken. The chicken was really good. Juicy and crispy. I like that they served it on a nice ceramic plate. Great presentation that makes you hungrier just looking at it. I wouldn’t order the spicy gang jung again though, it really can’t compare to the soy garlic. Worth getting the large portion next time so you can mix two flavours and get more value. The ginseng chicken soup was surprisingly good. Not cheap, but the flavour was strong and authentic. Came with a bit of glutinous rice and two chestnuts, which made it feel properly done. I’ll order this again. Overall, I’ll visit again for both the soy garlic chicken and the soup.

Ordered the original chicken. Taste not bad. Fried upon order so is served hot. Forgot to take photo, 30cents additional for takeaway. Shop is same as korean bistro. Sells pasta and pizza other than fried chicken. Can try those with flavour. Ginseng chicken at $13.90 cos online didn't really put price. Member is free can join immediately. Place is empty on sun afternoon. Near junction 9.

The fried chicken is very well done, crispy and tender. There are a good amount of flavour you can choose from, and the portion is quite good. I personally recommend the garlic one since its the best one among the other options. The burgers and pastas are good too, but I believe the flavour is lacking a bit. You can get a set with a side fries and a drink if you top up a few more dollars. The fries are not bad. Overall good restaurant, great price. Only downside is theres no air condition and transport is not the most convenient one.

The food was really good! The alfredo was super creamy and the fried chicken was very crispy. After a while, it can get quite tiresome for the jaw to chew through but it just shows how crispy it is. Overall, it was super yummy but very sinful. Also for this portion, it was very affordable. What you see here (2 chicken + alfredo + beef burger + hashbrowns - tho im pretty sure these are tatertots) was only around $35. There’s no GST and service charge too, what you see is what you pay.

This is the dish people come back for. A bowl of warm, savory broth with tender ribs that fall off the bone. The flavor is deep without being heavy, and it has that “cooked for hours” richness that hits especially well on rainy days. Definitely one of those “if you know this place, you take your friends there to impress them” kind of items

Hidden gem at yishun industrial, the Korean ginseng chicken soup is much flavorful and better comparable to authentic Korean restaurant. Must try and the bill for 4 is less than $50! Alot of seating space and breezy even in the afternoons..definitely will come back and do join their membership which is free and able to accumulate points to offset price.
