Yang nyeom chicken here is highlight and worth ordering on every visit. So good, I forgot to take photos. Have previosuly tried their Original Fried Chicken and its awesome too. This time we tried the Original Crunch Chicken which is oven baked on order and can take up to 30mins. Dryer and definitely healthier option with a good taste profile too but wont be as flavourful as the sauced and friend options. What I love about this place is you can choose if you want the whole or half chicken with bones or whole/half portion of boneless only chicken. Dont forget to ask for gloves so that you can eat the chicken with your hands. Last note, there is a menu item, Korean Ramen for $12. Its just ramen and soup (with some spring onions). Tastes exactly as expected but you can make that at home for much less so maybe try the other items.

They serve pretty decent Korean fried chicken here. We ordered three half-fried chickens, an army stew, a kimchi stew, fried dumplings and some rice cakes. The portions were more than enough for seven people. The Hoe Garden they served was also ice cold and buttery smooth. Total bill was around $20++ each without the beer.

Food is really good. Ordered the Yang Nyeom chicken wings with mild spicy sauce, but it wasn’t spicy to us at all. The portion came with 10 pieces, which felt a little unusual since most places usually serve 12 or 24 pieces. That aside, the wings were crispy, flavourful, and really enjoyable. We also ordered the Pork Kimchi Soup ($20), added noodles for $5 and rice for $2. The noodle portion was huge — honestly felt like two packets of noodles. Together, the soup was easily enough to feed 3 people comfortably. The kimchi soup hit all the right notes: rich, savoury, tangy, and very satisfying. Just these two dishes alone were enough to leave the 3 of us completely full. Food and taste wise, I would definitely come back again for these two items. They also served complimentary radish on the side. Only downside was that they still charged service fee even though ordering and payment had to be done at the counter.

Really spontaneous service and absolutely delicious food for its price. Worth travelling down to get this!

OFC is the best place to go for Korean fried chicken!! It really is so so good 🤤 I’d recommend the garlic chilli padi chicken if you like something very saucy and garlicky or the honey soy chicken if you want something less saucy and sweet & salty. For carbs, the Korean rice cakes or the Korean pancakes are good options to cut through the greasiness of the fried chicken. Service is great and attentive - the free flow pickled radish complements the chicken well. I’ll keep coming back as long as they keep standards high :)

Visited about a month ago after a long time, and I’ve arrived slightly over an hour before their stated closing time (both website and front door), and was told by staffs they are closed. Their staffs were already washing up and cleaning although lights and everything was still on. The same night I emailed to clarify what their closing time was and no one bothered to respond even after a month. I’ve been here before and never recalled their service was any good anyway.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, so this review is long overdue. This restaurant serves not only solid Korean fried chicken but also oven baked chicken, and my personal favourite crunch chicken. Can’t find this crunch chicken anywhere else. Whichever the style (and I’ve tried all), the chicken is juicy and tender, yet crispy and fragrant on the outside. What’s Korean fried chicken without beer? Gotta love the crackers that come with the booze.
