The highlight was the Army Stew, served with a rich, spicy broth. Loaded with ingredients and finished with instant noodles and cheese, it was great for group dining. The Kimchi Pancake was crisp on the outside. The Soy Wings & Drumettes were well-fried, juicy inside, and coated in a sweet-savory glaze Simple sides kimchi, 🧅 chilli & Marconi . Portions were generous and ideal for sharing. Service was efficient, and the overall experience felt casual and fuss-free. While prices lean slightly on the higher side, the quality and portion sizes made it worthwhile👍

Visited 88 Chicken recently and had a decent meal overall. Tried their army stew, which had tasty kimchi and quite a generous amount of it in the broth, adding a nice depth of flavour. However, I felt the other ingredients were rather limited, especially considering the price paid — it would have been great to see more variety or quantity. The fried chicken was quite good — crispy on the outside and juicy inside, just as you’d expect from a Korean spot. It definitely stood out as the highlight of the meal. Service-wise, there’s some room for improvement. Staff seemed a bit distracted at times, and it took a while to get their attention. A warmer and more attentive service could have made the meal feel a lot more welcoming. Overall, it’s an okay place if you’re craving fried chicken and flavourful kimchi stew, but the army stew could use more ingredients to feel truly satisfying. Worth a try if you’re nearby, especially for the chicken, but set your expectations accordingly!

Food was served promptly. We had all 3 options for boneless chicken, chicken was served fresh, steaming hot, crunchy and juicy and retained these attributes even after it wasnt as hot. Soy was my favourite flavour. We also ordered all 3 pajeons, generous cuts of squid, prawns, chives, kimchi. The pajeon was the chewy soft type, not greasy, and did have some crispy edges. Sundubu was a popular hit too. The staffs especially Joo? was very accommodating. We had a big group of 13 and he did a great job attending to our table. Plus, the kind ladyboss was so nice, helped store the bday cakes we brought, allowed us to borrow her kitchen knife bcos 2 of the cakes had a hard base, and also allowed the staff to prepare plates and cutleries for our cake consumption. The vibe and atmosphere was very comfortable, spacious and not pretentious. Overall, a lovely experience. I highly recommend for family gatherings.

We visited 88 Chicken during a weekday lunch hour and found it to be quite relaxed, with plenty of available seating. We ordered a seafood pancake, soy boneless thigh with an add-on of fried rice cake, and a large army stew for 7 people. The waiter promptly served the side dishes and water upon confirmation of our order. The Korean food at 88 Chicken was authentic and delicious. While it may be a bit on the pricier side, the portions were generous, and we struggled to finish everything. I will definitely return on special occasions to satisfy my Korean food cravings.

Came here to celebrate my sis birthday as she had a craving for Korean chicken. The food here is on the pricy side but their portions are of a generous size. Taste wise it honestly brought me back to Seoul with its authentic flavours. Staff was friendly and very patient to serve us. Just that he was not sure how to describe the sauce serve with our pancakes. I’m sure I’ll come here again. The area has other food options that I’m intrigued to try also. Give this place a try if you are in the area.

Settling in for a chicken delivery place 🍗 Fried chicken is crispy, moist, and has almost no fishy smell 🍗 Cheetos chicken is a great value and tastes great. It's less greasy than BHC, which I like 🍗 The seasoning is a bit sweet. Overall, it's bland Personally, this is the best Korean chicken I've had in Singapore, both in terms of taste and value. I've ordered it multiple times and the taste is consistently good.

Went on a Sunday around 1 PM and was able to get a seat immediately, even though the space isn't large and there aren't many tables. Ordered the 양념 치킨 (Yangnyeom Chicken, half) and 떡볶이 (Toppoki), totaling $46+, which is quite costly. However, the food tastes really good and authentic. The staff is a bit slow and not very proactive (e.g., we, along with the table next to us, had to ask for gloves).

food here was really gd n tasty kimchi was marinated vry well n were free, like the radish — the guy serving us offered to give us more kimchi without us even asking for it the yangnyeom chicken was so gd n the sauce was great great cafe style n super homey place ❤️ guys dont mention the price its actually vry ex to own a shop in a condo, so act the food is sooooo worth it def coming back again
