I recently got the opportunity to finally dine / drink at Fura. And honestly I’m asking myself why didn’t I come here earlier. I have continuously sung high praises for their next door neighbour Native. But Fura themselves deserves the same if not more praises. I wish I could comment more on the dishes, but unfortunately Fura was the third stop of the night so I only had enough space for their bread and pasta. But from that alone, I believe I’m am strongly compelled to make a return trip. The dishes might look simple but please do not let that throw you off on their complexities and the work that went into it. I am someone who believes in the embodiment of “how you do something is how you do everything.” So I’m excited to be coming back to try the dishes. As for the drinks, they truly challenge your perspective on what a cocktail should be like, but not only that the continuously champion their statement of sustainability as well as the promotion of the term “future food” And your visit here will leave you walking away as amazed as I am. Simply one of the best bars in Singapore. I dive deeper into the drinks and bread in my pictures posted!

My wife and I visited FURA during our trip to Singapore, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our entire visit. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mulia, who looked after us throughout the evening. Her hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm made us feel incredibly welcome and added a personal touch to what was already a very special experience. The cocktails were exceptional—creative, beautifully presented, and unlike anything we have tried before. We also enjoyed the in-house wines, which paired wonderfully with the food. The house-made appetizers were outstanding, showcasing unique ingredients, incredible craftsmanship, and flavours that were both surprising and delicious. What makes FURA truly special is its ability to combine innovation, sustainability, and world-class hospitality without ever feeling pretentious. Every dish and drink told a story, and the team brought those stories to life with passion and expertise. As visitors to Singapore, we were looking for experiences that would leave a lasting impression, and FURA exceeded every expectation. It wasn't just a meal or a few drinks—it was an experience that made our Singapore visit even more special and memorable. Thank you to Mulia and the entire FURA team for an unforgettable evening. We will be recommending FURA to everyone we know who visits Singapore.

My second time here and they didn’t disappoint! The staff here were all sooooo friendly and so helpful! They’d constantly check in on you and make sure that you’re comfortable. Every single drink we drank was so well thought and i loved the flavour of the drinks. We had one of the “wines” called the sticky mango and it rly delivered what the tasting notes mentioned in the menu! Definitely would recommend coming here for drinks! Cheers for the great service! 🥂🥳

A really interesting bar near Tanjong Pagar. I came here after seeing it on Asia's 50 Best list, and after one visit, I'm determined to be a repeat customer. Personally, I feel it should be ranked higher; perhaps the judges are young bars and still need time to develop. The average price per drink is $25. The idea of using jellyfish, insects, and birds as materials for sustainable scientific experiments is fresh, and the concept and flavors blend perfectly. The bartenders are very warm and friendly, and they have a deep understanding of the ingredients and brewing process for each drink. I love the lighting, music, and atmosphere; I always have a great time here.

Had amazing experiences at FURA. The flavor direction here is incredibly forward-thinking — every drink on the menu feels intentional, creative, and surprisingly well-balanced. Honestly one of the rare cocktail bars where the entire menu is consistently strong with no misses. I especially loved some of the fermentation-driven creations that carried wine-like complexity and texture while still feeling distinctly cocktail-forward. You can really tell the team puts deep thought into ingredients, technique, and storytelling. What makes FURA truly special though is the hospitality. Gilbert and Mulia always make you feel genuinely welcome, almost like coming home to old friends. That warmth completely elevates the experience beyond just great drinks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for one of the most unique and memorable cocktail experiences in Singapore.

Exceptional service from the team! Dropped by to satiate post-dinner cravings. The future foods concept is well executed with a balanced taste for both the drinks and bites. For example, the dish that is a twist on your typical Goreng Pisang is lightly crisped, mildly sweet and savoury with a touch of sea salt to give that slight salty edge. Overall a great place with good food, lovely drinks, and fantastic people.

Asia's 50 Best Bar #42 2024 #95 2025 A hidden bar tucked away on the 2nd storey of shophouses at Amoy Street. Vibey and cozy, with a surprisingly strong food menu - which is rare for bars. Perfect for lingering nights and good conversations. What we tried: 💎Get The Worm ($25) Tequila / chili / mealworm / lime / cilantro As a tequila lover, this one really hits. Spicy and sour, with a smooth alcohol level - not overpowering. 💎Make Local Tomatoes Great Again ($24) Super cute presentation with a mini tomato on top Sour with a slight sweetness, and you can definitely taste the alcohol. 💎Jellyfish Ceviche ($14) Aguachile / caramelized pineapple / mandarin / tortilla One of their best-selling bites. Interesting flavors with a crispy tortilla - highly recommend. Overall, a very cozy space that you can easily stay at for hours

Service was exceptional, the staff were really nice, attentive and very patient in explaining talk inspiration and process behind inventing the drinks. They were also engaging - checking in with the customers for feedback and to see how things are going. The drinks are experimental, had unique flavours and combinations. Personal favourites were Dusty daydream, get the worm, npc cola - this in particular was interesting in how they managed to get the aroma of cola. I liked that they really stuck to their concept of future and sustainability of food and how well they portrayed that in their menu. Highly recommend.
