Nutmeg & Clove

We had heard a lot about this bar and finally decided to give it a try. The service here was superb. The staff were warm, polite, and helpful, and they genuinely made us feel welcomed and well looked after throughout the evening. We tried four cocktails and two bar bites. Starting with the food, nothing was particularly amazing, but for bar food, I really enjoyed both dishes. The truffle fries were very well fried—neither soggy nor overly dry. The Sichuan mala chicken wings were delicious and definitely satisfied my craving for something spicy and numbing. They also paired really well with the cocktails. For drinks, I ordered Alamak and Die Die Must Try, while my wife had Stylo Milo and Nutmeg & Clove. All four looked interesting and beautifully presented. Taste-wise, I personally preferred Alamak and Nutmeg & Clove. I have to say that the drinks were perhaps a little less exciting than their creative names and photos had led me to expect, but the flavours were still innovative and enjoyable. Overall, we had a very pleasant evening here. The excellent service was definitely one of the highlights, and the creative cocktails and enjoyable bar food made for a good experience.

A local Singaporean friend recommended this place to me. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout, and they could communicate in both Chinese and English. The drinks weren't very strong, but they were delicious, and each drink came with a complimentary sandwich. The food and drinks I ordered separately were also very tasty. The decor was comfortable, and the restrooms even had sanitary pads for women – a thoughtful touch! The menu was unique and included some fun comics. I would definitely go back to this bar!

We loved the menu! It was Singlish inspired and the cocktails were so balanced and smooth. These were the cocktails Jialat and Stylo Milo 🤣 the stylo milo was our first ever warm cocktail it was interesting and yummy They were so sweet and gave us a little treat for our anniversary ❤️

Top 50 Bar! Highly recommended 😊 the staff are friendly, good at recommending drinks too. Happy hours till 7pm, it comes with a sandwich. Mantou crab and mala fries is so good!

Overall, had an amazing night. Food and cocktails were bomb, no complaints. However, at one point during my night, I was definitely uncomfortable. One of the waitstaff started chatting with (I presume) his friend seated beside me. Nothing wrong but that conversation went on for 10-20 mins. What bothered me was - I was seated at the bar so he was standing behind me the whole time so I could hear the entire conversation right in my ear. This disturbed my entire experience as I couldn’t focus on my own conversation with my partner. Eventually, my partner switched seats with me and I guess he (the waitstaff) picked up on my discomfort and stopped hovering for the rest of the time we were there. The bartenders were really friendly which made up for it. Love it, keep it up!

An interesting bar with many stories of Singlish. Having an unforgettable evening in this Top 50 bar. And also delicious dishes for this bar, we have tried Chongqing chicken wings and Bah kuh Teh Hamburger, so special and tasty. Will come here again and again, and will recommend to my friends. Wonderful meal and place!

Noisy environment- but can’t complain as it a good cocktail bar - with a lot of local flavours infused in each drink- and can be found right in the centre of the city. Good hang for a Friday evening and nice comically crafted menu to select your drink from - their crab 🦀 sauce with mantou buns is a nice complement to the mescal based cocktail that I had …Die Die must try …this place 😉
