Nutmeg & Clove

Overall, had an amazing night. Food and cocktails were bomb, no complaints. However, at one point during my night, I was definitely uncomfortable. One of the waitstaff started chatting with (I presume) his friend seated beside me. Nothing wrong but that conversation went on for 10-20 mins. What bothered me was - I was seated at the bar so he was standing behind me the whole time so I could hear the entire conversation right in my ear. This disturbed my entire experience as I couldn’t focus on my own conversation with my partner. Eventually, my partner switched seats with me and I guess he (the waitstaff) picked up on my discomfort and stopped hovering for the rest of the time we were there. The bartenders were really friendly which made up for it. Love it, keep it up!

My friends and I enjoyed happy hour here (and mostly drank from the Singlish /non-social hour menu). We were a large group and ordered 2x of each sharing dish and about 2 drinks each — coming to about $650 SGD. The chicken sandwiches are complimentary with each drink and the highlight of the food included the truffle fries, crab dip, and fish curry—all served with delicious bread to soak in the yumminess. The drinks and food were fantastic. My only nits were that the service seemed inconsistent—one server was quite on top of things, but the other two were redundant or delivered food to the wrong end of the table. Also the seating was quite uncomfortable. Sitting in backless stools for two hours wasn’t great and the banquette wasn’t cushioned. It was quite warm inside and I wish there was more fans to help cool off.

Best bar ever!!!! There’s a really nice tall staff came from Hong Kong, we are sorry we didn’t say goodbye 😭😭 He’s super nice, chatty and helpful!!! We had a really nice time here. We hope anyone see this comment can tell him that he’s a wonderful person and we are appreate to meet him 🥹🫰 The cocktails are also nice, we tried six cocktails, each of them was really nice. The best one, of course, is Nutmeg & Clove, it’s a must try!!! Please do visit this bar if you’re in Singapore!!! ✨✨✨

Good vibes, good drinks and good people! One of my favourite, favourite bars.

Had wonderful time with my loved one and ordered "atas"--strong note of coffee liquer, which hit just right for the young night! His order was the one with superman wafer (Indonesian fellows must be familiar with this!) on the top and some delactable foam with nutmeg and clove aroma. Forgot the name but never the taste! It will always linger. The vibe, the people and the staff were all awesome. No wonder it's one of the 50 Best Bar 2024! Worth to visit. Must have reservations. We came unannounced on a busy weekday night but John accommodated us and got us a table until 9:30 PM only. Which was fantastic! Because we're at our 40s and 9 PM is our new midnight! Aiya, must come here lah!!

an impromptu drink as I was just around the area and they did not disappoint. walked in around 23:00 on 24/01 (Saturday) with no reservation but managed to get a comfy seat facing the bar within 10 minutes. ordered their signature, Nutmeg & Clove ‘cause i’ve heard good things about this drink and I liked it. it was smooth, with a pop of flavour. no shocking flavours, yet not boring. love the steps to enjoy the drink. surprisingly the childhood chocolate biscuit pairs so damn well with the whole concoction, I was impressed. it really does have its own character (in fact all their drinks have their own character LOL) and explains why it’s a signature. had a great time going through the menu too. 😂 thank you for the amazing hospitality from the host, one particular bartender who’s on the service floor and staff :) (sorry i didn’t get your names but y’all are awesome 🔥

Amazing place, easily one of the top bars in Singapore. The drinks are insane with each drink representing a different story co-relating to Singapore. Top notch hospitality from the crew, shoutout to Jonathan and Germaine. Really feels like hanging out with your friends The food programme is good too, definitely get some food with the drinks. Nutmeg never fails to impress me, will definitely come back again!

This place is really good for colleagues or friends get together after work. We are there after work, and lucky we did advance reservation. otherwise, we won't have any tables. There is a happy hour which you order a drink and come with a small sandwich, which is pretty decent for a quick snack. The menu has a lot of drinks, and you can order from cocktails to wine and to beers. Food selection will be limited since they are small place, but the finger food or sharing food are really good and tasty. Overall, it is a good place, but the space is limited, so better make reservation else will not have any seats for large crowd.
