Vibey speakeasy izakaya in SG While they're known for their ume, their selection of highballs and cocktails definitely deserves some love too 🍸🥃 Huge shoutout to the amazing crew — John and the bartender! 🙌🏻 They took such great care of us while keeping the atmosphere fun with plenty of laughs along the way. Their warm hospitality and great service made the whole experience even more memorable. Will definitely be back!

Want to try this place for a long time, finally got the opportunity. Excellent service from Sunny and Micheal, friendly and welcoming. Vibe is cosy and chill, nice wide selection of umeshu.

While the drinks we had were interesting, I’m not a fan of the dry ramen I had. It tasted extremely salty and the beef sukiyaki is 80% fat and 20% meat. It was so challenging to tear the meat away from the fat. The sodium content for the food really has to be dialled down.

Ordered the angry Ansari ramen and dry beef ramen the food is tasty. Tori karage is crispy and good. Very attentive bartender and chatty.

I really enjoyed this place! There was an extensive list of umeshu to try. We got 3 tasting flights, tea, sake and premium umeshu. The snack platter was fresh as well which had clams, jellyfish and seaweed. The staff was helpful and kind. A random find in fortune centre!

The food was decent, though not everything stood out. If I were to recommend a couple of dishes, the Spicy Beef Ramen and the Foie Gras Bara Chirashi Don would be my picks. 😬 A special shout-out to Matiin, the Bar Operations Manager, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. His recommendations were spot on and definitely enhanced our dining experience. That said, I personally think you come to Umesan not for the food, but for their impressive selection of umeshu and umeshu-based cocktails. It’s something that’s surprisingly hard to find elsewhere, and the sheer variety of umeshu available can really catch you by surprise. Even if you’re not usually a fan, there’s probably one that will win you over. For umeshu lovers, this place is definitely worth a visit. 💖

Had a great time at this Japanese Umesan Bar! 🍶✨ The food was delicious, the vibes were fantastic, and the environment was warm, cozy, and inviting. A really nice place to relax, enjoy good food and drinks, and spend time with friends. Definitely a spot I’d be happy to visit again! Highly recommended. 🇯🇵❤️
