Two districts' worth of habits in one: coffee bars that draw a queue before work, and after dark a cluster of cocktail rooms that turn up regularly on regional best-bar lists. In between it is a mix rather than a cuisine — Chinese, Thai, French — and mostly small rooms rather than destinations. Sitting between the museums and the shopping blocks, it fills and empties on a different rhythm to the rest of town.
