Here’s a polished version that keeps the warm, personal tone: Last Word Bar is the perfect place if you’re looking for a truly refined atmosphere with nothing unnecessary to distract you. It’s a space that invites you to slow down, relax, unwind, and enjoy meaningful conversations with the people you’re with. The ambiance is elegant and intimate, creating the perfect setting to appreciate cocktails that are crafted with incredible precision and creativity. Every drink was beautifully balanced and thoughtfully prepared. The cocktails were, without a doubt, the best we experienced during our stay in Singapore. Last Word Bar isn’t just a place for a drink, it’s a place that inspires you to pause, connect, and savor every moment.

Came here just for the cocktails. They were pretty good. My fav were hurry curry and tong shui. They have a secret room behind that has homey vibes which i like. Be sure to book that area!

If you go during happy hour, they serve incredibly delicious fish cake soup. It’s perfect for starting off after a hangover. I went to Nutmeg, but couldn't quite get used to their overly creative style, so I searched for a nearby bar and left. I was surprised for the first time to find the entrance to Last Word right next to Nutmeg. I went inside and was having my first drink when they suddenly prepared handmade mini cakes and champagne for a friend's birthday party, which surprised me for the second time. I was surprised for the third time to find out it was the same company as Nutmeg. I was surprised for the fourth time because the cocktails were so delicious. It was a series of surprises. Last Word is really tasty, but the cherry flavor might be hit or miss for some... The Martini was good, and the champagne-based cocktails were delicious too. The best part is that my favorite Bloody Mary is made with blended fresh tomatoes. I used to always drink it that way at a bar called Pavox in Korea, but after that bar closed, I hadn't been able to have one for almost 8 years. I thought I would never be able to drink a fresh tomato Bloody Mary again, but I was so happy and nostalgic to be able to have one at Last Word. I went the day before and came back the next day just for this taste lol. A bar that is so friendly, delicious, and has excellent service.

I love how chill it is, and the bartenders are really friendly. Their drinks were great and I particularly enjoyed the seasonal menu that included Matcha - I'm basic like that. We tried quite a lot of the food on their menu and it was pretty good, except that most were served lukewarm or cold. Steak was tender but a bit too much salt. Potato salad and fries were good - cannot go wrong with those. Fries were similar to the seaweed shaker fries from McDonald's but more fluffy. What I cannot forgive is the cold oden. There are some non-negotiables for food and temperature is one of them. Granted they heated it up (only the soup, the other ingredients were still cold) when we shared the feedback, but it ruined the entire point of Oden, and they should have checked before serving.

Very classy bar. Love that staff all have old school attire on (white button up shirts, bow ties). Drinks are super good & unique. The Last word (if you have never heard of this drink it’s bc your drink level is still amateur) was the best we have tried in Singapore. Many drink options for different pallets…you may not like them all but they are all made with high quality ingredients and blended for perfection. The inside is nice sized and makes you feel like you are in a very intimate setting…lights are a bit dark so be prepared. Not sure why this isn’t in the top 50 bars of Asia and the Nutmeg (located at the bottom level of Last Ward) is??? Haven’t been to nutmeg so I guess that will be next on the list

Asia's Best Bar ('24) - #93 Last Word As part of the Nutmeg & Clove chain, Last Word made it into Asia's Best in 2023 shortly after opening. Although its ranking dropped significantly the following year, and it even fell off the list this year, it's definitely a place I would recommend revisiting. Ascending the stairs next to Nutmeg & Clove, the high ceilings and spacious layout perfectly showcase the characteristics of Singapore's colonial-era housing. Without excessive decoration, Last Word gives a comfortable and relaxing feeling, like chilling at home. The wine list mainly follows a classic rebuilt theme, but the Last Word drink is definitely a solid, classic presentation; they also have the Roku wine list for the season, which is exactly my favorite. Even more coincidentally, I met a Taiwanese bartender, which explains why my Taiwanese friends in Singapore highly recommend Last Word – perhaps it's a feeling of homesickness.

what a lovely evening at last word! if you’re looking for a cozy quiet bar, this is a great spot for you. we happened to bar hop to this place (nutmeg & clove was right below) and I think we enjoyed ourselves better here. our server Giap was also very hospitable. they have a smaller cozier area in the same space called last stop which serves a fixed menu (courtesy of Giap, we tried the chocolate martini and boy that was delicious!) defo worth a try.
