Sadly, this place was a real disappointment. I came across it on TikTok and thought I’d found a hidden gem, especially with the unique hidden entrance concept, but the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The cocktails were overly sweet and lacked balance, and the atmosphere just wasn’t for me. On a Monday night, with only a handful of tables occupied, the loud hip-hop music felt out of place and made it difficult to enjoy the space. To top it off, the drinks were quite expensive - $63.55 for two cocktails. Overall, it wasn’t an experience I’d be keen to repeat, and I wouldn’t be recommending it to others.

This is a cool cocktail bar that is only labeled by the number 28 sign outside so it's a little hidden behind blacked out windows and doors. When you enter the bar they have the front covered by black curtains like entering a nightclub. It was bumping 90s-2000s and latin hip-hop but I couldn't hear my wife talking (Saturday night vibes so understandable). I enjoyed all the drinks and bartenders were very helpful, but I would come here on a weekday to get a more relaxed vibe. Here is our review of the drinks we ordered: Planter's Punch: 4/5 -Fruity and refreshing -Citrusy -Perfect for a hot day outside Island Samurai: 4.5/5 -Sweetness from Shochu, apricot, peach and honey -Lightly spirited taste -Slight Citrus flavor to balance the sweetness Whisky Sour: 4.7/5 -Classic taste using angostura bitters/ makers mark -Egg white foam for frothy head on cocktail -No complaints what I look for in a go-to whisky sour Corpse Reviver: 5/5 - Gin based classic with citrus floral taste - Less sweet compared to most drink selections with absinthe Saint & Sinner: 5/5 - Spirt forward drink with strawberry flavor and floral scent - Citrusy and paired well with the strawberry coulis biscotti

At 28 Hong Kong Street, look for the lone old-school lamp hanging from the ceiling along the street and you'll find a small door, open it and enter a world of cocktails and mood that will melt your stress and worries away. The drinks are on point, with a generous pours of the spirits as well. Bartenders are all on point and award winning with their vast knowledge of various cocktails which you can just order off the top of your head; no wonder its one of the Top Bars. Do make reservations as the place is small and popular. If its a party of two, I'll recommend the bar counter for sure to admire both the handiwork of the bartenders and the beautiful shelf of soul-healing spirits. Cheers!

A bar conveniently located. The burger is simply fantastic. Cocktails are original creations and the bar setting is top notch. Highly recommend it either to go with friends or for a date. The night I went the music was quite a good selection.

If we were not recommended by a local friend, we would never find this small cozy bar on our own. First time at a bar that doesn't even have its name on the door :) we barely found the door to enter this cool bar :) I had one of the best cocktails ever: The Island Samurai which was a fantastic combination of Rum and Japanese wine with a touch of peach and apricot juice, highly recommended.

28 hk street is a decent - i come here every now and then. got the truffle fries and the coco naughty cocktail which i really enjoyed! if u like creamy and sweet cocktail or something similar to a white russian i highly recommend u try that. note: they are also able to do a white russian off the menu. but the coco naughty is more delicious, so stick to that.

My fav bar in Singapore! The cocktails amazing.

Provide special cocktails, good vipe and relexing, if your boss treat the bill, is a good choice here.
