Interesting fusion cocktail menu using native and local ingredients. The Antz 🐜 and Chicken Rice cocktails were definitely the highlights for me, so unique and interesting! The staff were also very friendly and took the time to introduce and explain the drinks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A fun place to try creative cocktails with a local twist.

We had such a lovely experience here! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, and all the staff were so warm and welcoming. They patiently explained all the ingredients in the drinks to us and even prepared a welcome drink for us, which was such a sweet touch. The service was excellent and made us feel truly welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Before we left, they even took the time to ask about our opinions and experience, which was very thoughtful and showed how much they care about their guests. Highly recommended!

Food was great, love the ribs which were tender and pasta which was unique. Chicken wings were character-less, neither crispy nor drenched in sauce. Food is brought in from partner establishment situated opposite. Cocktails were conversation starters. Pho-resh really tasted like pho in gimlet form. Thunder tea rice had strong peanut taste that overpowered other elements. Lovely ambience, best to make a reservation for the low cushioned seats which are more comfortable than the high stools. Bill came up to sgd130 for 2 pax, quite pricey due to the cocktails being sgd26+ each. Complimentary sake and whisky were provided, nice freebie. Found a long strand of hair tangled in my ribs, and a piece of plastic in my water. Staff sincerely apologised. Will be back regardless, to try the tiramisu, other cocktails, and other food.

Visited Native and was pleasantly surprised from start to finish. The space is small but creates a really cozy, intimate ambiance that makes the whole experience feel personal. The bartenders were incredibly attentive and friendly they also took the time to explain each one in a way that felt both engaging and educational, which I really appreciated. Every drink was impressive, and honestly exceeded my expectations. The highlight for me was the “chicken + rice” drink. I didn’t expect it to taste so similar to the actual dish, but it genuinely did. Definitely a must-try for the experience alone. The sourdough was slightly on the tougher side, but the butter completely made up for it. They also surprised us with two complimentary mini drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch and really elevated the overall experience. Overall, a unique and memorable spot I’d come back to!

We Walked into this place with no reservation on a weekend - the host was very kind to make space and give us an hour to try the drinks . Not sure what to expect but the Drinks programme was stunning - truly a lot of work into fermentation and extracting flavours to shade their concept . I’ve been to most Asia 50 bars and you normally expect top class drinks but this place we rate higher because of the flavour profiles of the drinks with rice and making of their own Spirits with infusions was a sensory experience on the tastebuds . Flavours we familiar but not had in a Cocktails Huge respect for what you do and we hope you get more credit for what your bar and cocktails deserve . Cannot wait to come back again with more friends and family . Cheers

I heard it's the third-best bar in Singapore, but having tried the first two, I felt it paled in comparison. The drinks are supposedly made with rice, but they got a bit cloying and too thick towards the end. The lighter drinks weren't strong enough, and the overall balance wasn't great. The fries were also rather ordinary. The other two bars had more unique food, but the interior spaces were small and cramped.

Background Native uses spirits and botanicals from Southeast Asia, along with foraged or locally sourced ingredients, to create thoughtful, often surprising cocktails. Native has been listed as one of the top bars in the world Ambience The setting feels cosy and focused rather than flashy. The comfortable setting encourages conversation and discovery, though its popularity often results in limited seating, requiring early arrival or a reservation. Service The staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely engaged. Our host recommended some of Native’s most popular drinks and even shared insights into the inspirations behind them. Conversations flowed easily with the host, who offered generous guidance and made the menus feel less intimidating and more inviting. Food/Drink Drinks at Native are ambitious and distinct, rooted in local and regional flavour profiles rather than generic cocktail formulas. Many highlight Asian botanicals and spirits, creating intriguing combinations that are vibrant without being gimmicky. Overall Native stands out from the throng of Singapore cocktail bars by embracing curiosity and regional identity. Native is an excellent and innovative bar that excels in its concept and execution. It is a top-tier destination for those seeking to explore the potential of local flavours through world-class mixology.

We came without reservations and were able to get a spot. I got the chicken rice which tasted basically like chicken rice. I wish it had a little more flavour of the chicken oil that's usually found between the skin of the chicken. A could idea would be to make some kind of oil that you could place on top with a dropper. I like the idea of the chicken like drumstick cracker on top. It tasted a bit like a cheetoh. Interesting drink but wouldn't get it again. The thunder tea rice tasted very much like thick thick peanut butter. I think it needed more sesame and tofu fragrance to help balance it out. The texture was just too thick to be enjoyable. But I can see that they are headed in the right direction with this drink. I personally love thunder tea so I had high hopes for this drink. The last drink we tried was one of the natural wines they make in house. It tastes more like kombucha than a natural wine though. Some interesting concepts at this bar. I would come back and try some of their other drinks like pho resh and everything every rice all at once. Service was also really fast and helpful. Ambiance was definitely on the dark and sexy side. I liked that it wasn't too loud inside and even though the tables can be a bit close together, it didn't feel like an invasion of privacy
