We just checked in at Radisson RED Da Nang and found this gem right beside the hotel. My mom was craving something warm, so we decided to try their hotpot, and it did not disappoint! The serving size was very generous, the ingredients were fresh, and the soup was delicious and comforting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and could communicate in basic English, which made ordering easy. Overall, a great dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommended! 😊🍲🦐

Never coming back. I chose a nearly 1kg (850g) geoduck clam, priced at 1,390,000 VND/kg. The staff advised that such a large clam could be used to make two dishes. I said I only wanted one, stir-fried noodles. And the plate of stir-fried noodles that came out only had a few tiny, crumbled pieces of clam, as shown in the picture. I couldn't believe it was an 850g clam. I asked to check the camera footage, but it was all blind spots and nothing was visible. The staff even challenged me, saying, "If you make a new clam using the exact same process and can't prove you're wrong, you have to pay for two clams!" Then they reduced the price to 1,190,000 VND/kg for the geoduck clam because "the chef's hands are too weak, so the clams are cut a bit too small." I chose 300g of grade 1 sea snails, but they intentionally brought out grade 2. When I protested, they only apologized for the mistake and then brought out a plate of mango as an apology.

A forgettable experience at Ong Minh Seafood. The plain rice was ice cold. The grilled oysters were also cold, and the food took a long time to arrive. The food wasn't fresh or tasty like some of the reviews suggested. In short, I will never return. The bill was 5 million VND, and none of the dishes were any good. I had diarrhea the next day after eating there.

There would be nothing to complain about if, when we went to pay, the staff hadn't miscounted our order. And as I suspected, when they brought the bill, if I hadn't checked it again, it would have included items like rice paper rolls and 5 wet wipes, even though there were 4 of us. MOST IMPORTANTLY, 2 out of 4 people suffered terrible stomach aches and fell down. So, avoid this place! :)))

Convenient location, spacious and airy restaurant, seafood is quite fresh thanks to the large number of customers and good stock turnover. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly. Prices are expensive, suitable only for tourists. At this price point, you could find smaller, more hidden local restaurants with fresher, tastier seafood at much lower prices. A quick note: the restaurant has many 5-star reviews from people who only have one or two reviews. I wonder if they are regulars at the restaurant? 🧐

Amazing dining experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The whole grilled fish was a standout. It came perfectly crispy on the outside while still tender and flaky inside, topped with a fragrant mix of scallions, garlic, and chili that added incredible flavor to every bite. The garlic prawns were another highlight. They were large, juicy, and covered with crispy fried garlic that made them incredibly aromatic and delicious. Every bite had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet seafood flavor. We also ordered the clams, which were cooked in a rich, flavorful sauce with herbs and aromatics that made them perfect for dipping. The vegetables were fresh and lightly cooked, keeping a nice crunch while soaking up the garlic and chili flavors. The hot pot was great as well. The broth was comforting and packed with vegetables, and pairing it with the fresh noodles made it a really satisfying dish to share. Overall the meal felt like a true seafood feast. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the flavors were vibrant. Definitely a place I’d come back to again if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese seafood dishes. 🐟🦐🍜

Quán Hải Sản Ông Minh on the main road? Expect full tourist trap energy—big signs, flashy tanks, that classic “we see you coming” vibe. 😂 Food’s decent enough (not terrible), but watch your seafood picks like a hawk. Ordered crab, got downgraded to some sad low-grade version—had to complain hard just to get a proper replacement. Sketchy honesty level: 2/10. High ratings feel super sus too—tons of 5-star reviewers with zero other reviews in their history. Bot farm or paid hype? Probably. Bottom line: Not the worst seafood in Da Nang, but that scammy aftertaste ruins the whole meal. Skip unless you’re feeling lucky. Save your dong for a spot with real locals instead. 🦀🚫

A very nice restaurant, mostly frequented by locals. Service was busy but generally attentive. The seafood, priced according to market rates, was a bit pricey, but perfectly acceptable; 1 pound of mantis shrimp cost 700 VND, and the quality was excellent, unlike anything I'd had before—large and very fresh. Other dishes besides the seafood were very cheap; the straw-fried chicken was only 89 VND and exceptionally delicious. Ordering was a little difficult; the restaurant had a Chinese menu, but it was mostly machine-translated and unreadable, so it was best to take a picture of the Vietnamese menu and have it translated by AI.
