Card payments are accepted, which is convenient, but since there is a separate fee for payment, it is advisable to prepare cash or confirm the payment method in advance. After trying several dishes, the tiger prawns were the most satisfying. They had a firm texture and were very fresh, and the seasoning was not overpowering, allowing me to fully appreciate the natural flavor of the shrimp. On the other hand, the crab, which is sought after by many, did not leave a special impression, perhaps because my expectations were too high. Personally, given the same budget, choosing the tiger prawns over the crab yielded much higher satisfaction. I believe this is a place where you are unlikely to be disappointed if you visit with family or friends and order mainly shrimp dishes. However, as it is a famous restaurant, there may be a long wait during meal times, and the interior tends to be somewhat crowded. It was also disappointing that there was an additional fee for card payments. The crab wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to my expectations, so if you are visiting for the first time, I recommend structuring your menu around the tiger prawns. Overall, it was a sufficiently satisfying restaurant for enjoying seafood in Da Nang.

Date of visit: 27Mar’26 Place attracts a lot of tourists and rightly so. The premise is huge with a large outdoor dining area + 4 storeys of indoor tables. Queueing system is orderly and managed well by the staff, with a seating area for you to wait until your turn is called (they even distributed fruit while you waited!💯) Once your table is ready, you are led to it, and a service staff will take your order once you’re done being overwhelmed by the menu options 🥲 If you did order live seafood (which you definitely should), you will be brought down to the live water tanks on the 1st floor, where you can personally select your catch! Service was great, and they even help to peel/deshell (where possible) table side, leaving you without the hassle of getting your hands dirty! Overall, I’m sure you can visit any of the other live seafood restaurants, to get equal food quality/service at a more affordable price. Important tip ✨: Order steamed/grilled where possible, and without sauces, as these tend to dominate the entire dish, eliminating the natural sweetness/flavour of live seafood! 🤫 P.S I covered this in my Youtube video! channel: @thepleblife

The hype is real for this restaurant. Nothing was left on our plates considering we already had seafood from another restaurant the other night we were here. Service was very fast and the staff was very attentive to all our requests and orders. The good is so very very good and very very satisfying. We ate our hearts out for our last night in Da Nang. Thanh Huyen was very attentive to our needs and helped us peel our lobster and shrimp. She definitely made our experience extra special. Everything from the soup, the rolls, the rice, scallops, oysters, shrimp and lobsters were cooked excellently and to our satisfaction. What an exciting find.

not to our expectation and didn’t really live up to the “hype” it has. we ordered lobster in the garlic and butter sauce and we felt like the sauce was too thick and tasted a bit cheesy. the crab we got was also a little tasteless. we got the garlic fried rice and that was probably the best thing we had including the scallops which were good. i wouldn’t go there again.

After hearing so much about Mộc Seafood, we made sure to book a day in advance and were very glad we did. The queues were huge when we arrived and walk-ins were facing a long wait. We opted for an air-conditioned room on Level 3, which made for a very comfortable dining experience but lacked the atmosphere of the ground floor. We chose our own live lobster directly from the tank. It’s a nice touch and adds to the experience. We ordered the garlic butter spiny lobster, prawns in tamarind sauce, morning glory with garlic, garlic fried rice and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. The standout dish for me was actually the garlic fried rice. It was exceptional, with velvety rice and generous amounts of crunchy fried garlic throughout. Simple, but incredibly well executed. The lobster was also excellent, with sweet, fresh meat and a rich garlic butter sauce that paired beautifully with the rice. The morning glory was good, if a little overcooked. The prawns were cooked perfectly, although I found the tamarind sauce a little sweeter than my personal preference. Service was excellent from start to finish. Staff were attentive, friendly and efficient despite how busy the restaurant was. The entire meal, including the bottle of wine, came to around 1.52 million VND for two people, which worked out to roughly $42 AUD per person. For the quality of the seafood, the service and the overall experience, that’s outstanding value. Mộc is clearly one of Da Nang’s hottest dining destinations right now and it’s easy to see why. It’s featured in the Michelin Guide, and in this case the recognition feels well deserved. A very enjoyable seafood experience and one I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Da Nang.

Beautiful seafood feast tonight at this lovely restaurant. We had to wait 50mins as we did not prebook and had to line up but it was so worth it! We were even provided a cup of fruits during the wait. Then we were showed to our tables and served promptly. Must mention that this place is TOP SERVICE. We just had our nails done so did not want to have prawn smelling nails so our waiter cut ALL our shelled dishes. Such a pleasant and loving surprise 😮 But if you would like to enjoy a meal under the stars with affordable seafood. This is a place you must visit!

We had a wonderful dining experience, thanks in large part to our waiter who name Kiet in level 4 . From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to explain the menu, answered all of our questions patiently, and made excellent recommendations. Throughout the meal, he checked on us regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction without being intrusive. His professionalism, positive attitude, and attention to detail truly stood out. He made us feel valued as guests and contributed greatly to the overall enjoyment of our visit. The service was prompt, efficient, and delivered with a genuine smile. It is rare to receive such outstanding customer service, and his efforts did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making our dining experience so enjoyable. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend this restaurant to others based on the excellent service we received.
