I genuinely don’t understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. After hearing so much about it and seeing the Michelin recommendation, I walked in with high expectations, but unfortunately, it ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of our Vietnam trip. The service lacked any sense of urgency or hospitality. It was difficult to get the attention of the staff, simple requests took far longer than they should have, and there was very little follow-up once our order was placed. The restaurant wasn’t even particularly busy, which made the slow service even harder to understand. The food itself was equally underwhelming. We ordered the butter garlic crab expecting a rich, savoury dish, but it was surprisingly bland with an odd sweetness that overpowered everything else. Even the fries, which should be one of the easiest items to get right, arrived late and weren’t enjoyable. Considering the prices, I expected much better food and a much better overall experience. There are countless fantastic restaurants in Vietnam offering incredible meals and warm service at similar or lower prices. This simply wasn’t one of them. Our Grab driver actually suggested we skip this place, but we assumed the reputation spoke for itself. Looking back, I wish we had taken his advice. I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic or memorable dining experience.

As a MICHELIN Guide-selected restaurant in Da Nang, My Hanh Seafood offers a great overall dining experience with fresh seafood, well-prepared dishes, and a comfortable atmosphere that is suitable for both leisure guests and corporate groups. The food quality was excellent, and the restaurant team showed good attention to detail throughout the service. I would also like to highlight Mr. Tuyen, who was very professional, responsive, and supportive from the planning stage to the on-site operation. He understood the group’s requirements well, handled requests quickly, and provided practical solutions whenever needed. What impressed me most is that Mr. Tuyen is not only a strong sales person, but also someone who truly cares about service delivery. During the event, he was attentive, flexible, and hands-on in assisting with any arising matters, which helped ensure the group dining experience went smoothly. Overall, I highly appreciate My Hanh Seafood for its food quality, service, and hospitality, and I would be happy to recommend the restaurant for group meals, corporate events, and special dining arrangements in Da Nang.

The best seafood I’ve ever had in my life! As a Thai person, I often hear people say that you should bring your own seafood sauce when visiting Da Nang. Honestly, I don’t think that’s necessary at all. The seafood here is incredibly fresh, and the restaurant does such a great job with the seasoning and preparation that everything tastes delicious on its own. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients were high quality, and every dish was enjoyable without needing any extra sauce. This place completely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended if you’re looking for outstanding seafood in Da Nang!

PSA: Be sure to check your bill carefully and have the staff explain each item. Our bill included a few extra charges, and it seemed that the table next to us experienced a similar issue. My friend and I walked in without a reservation and got lucky- we were offered an outdoor table with a million-dollar view. ✨ If you'd like to dine outside and enjoy the scenery, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. The food was excellent. We ordered the dried squid (which the staff thoughtfully tore into bite-sized pieces for us), squash blossoms, and fried cobia. Our total bill came to around 1.4 million. Most of the seafood is priced at market rates, so it's a good idea to ask about the prices before ordering.

We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary lunch at My Hanh Seafood and honestly, this place exceeded our expectations. The seafood was absolutely fresh and delicious. We ordered fresh coconut juice together with several of their Michelin-recognized dishes, and every single one was worth it. The flavors, presentation, and quality were top-notch. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional service from Huỳnh Trâm and Văn Tao. They were both incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful throughout our meal. Whenever they noticed us struggling with the seafood, they immediately stepped in to assist us with a smile. That level of customer care is rare and truly appreciated. Another thoughtful touch was at the end of the meal — they provided a bowl with lime and water for hand washing to remove the fishy smell. Simple detail, but very classy and thoughtful. The restaurant also has a beautiful seaside atmosphere that made our anniversary lunch even more special. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but the food quality, service, and overall experience made it worth every penny. I honestly don’t mind paying for this kind of excellent dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Da Nang and looking for premium seafood with outstanding hospitality. We came here on our first night in Da Nang because of the beautiful view and the comfortable air-conditioned setting, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to the price. The seafood was fresh, but the flavors were only average considering how expensive everything was. We ordered 5 dishes for our family and the bill came out to over $150 USD, which felt extremely overpriced compared to many other restaurants we visited afterward in Da Nang. Surprisingly, we even left still feeling hungry afterward, which made the price even harder to justify. The bigger disappointment was the service. I completely understand that not everyone speaks English, and I would never expect that while traveling in another country. What stood out to us was the lack of patience or effort in communication. At many other restaurants in Vietnam, staff were kind, welcoming, and would even pull out Google Translate to help bridge the language barrier. Here, we often felt rushed or like our questions were an inconvenience. We also had to repeatedly ask for basic things we had already requested — utensils, rice, and even the check. Multiple items took several reminders before they arrived, which made the dining experience frustrating instead of relaxing. To be fair, the location and view are excellent, and the seafood itself seemed fresh. But overall, it felt more like a tourist trap than a restaurant focused on hospitality or value. Ironically, our Grab driver warned us beforehand that this place was expensive and tourist-oriented, and I wish we had listened. We avoided smaller local spots because we wanted AC and convenience on our first night, but in hindsight there are many better-value restaurants in Da Nang with friendlier service and better overall experiences.

Unfortunately, I have to give a 2-star rating. I found the 'Beachfront dining' and 'Michelin Guide' labels to be mere gimmicks when applied to this particular restaurant. ​First, the portions are massive. I wouldn't recommend dining here unless you are in a group of at least four; the dishes are clearly designed for large parties. ​I ordered a Golden Sole fish (steamed with soy sauce). Since the smallest available was 1.56kg, I couldn't order anything else as I specifically wanted a fish dish. At VND 5.5 million for a single fish (a conscious decision on my part), it was the most expensive dish of my entire trip. Regrettably, the taste and texture were only mediocre, as the cooking style didn't suit this variety of fish. What truly upset me was that despite requesting 'no chilli' multiple times, it was still served with chilli anyway. The restaurant was unapologetic, merely offering to remove the chillis with tongs. ​The disappointing service did not stop there. The waiter was unfamiliar with the various seafood options and unable to answer basic questions or offer recommendations. In hindsight, for a fish of that size for 2-3 guests, they should have suggested preparing it 2 different ways - a failure on their part to provide proper guidance. ​Other service failures included: - ​An iced green tea that took an incredibly long time to arrive, even after two reminders. - ​The staff seated a smoking group right next to us, despite knowing we had a toddler with us. ​While they provide a complimentary starter and fruit as standard practice, these small gestures did not make up for the poor experience. If you are looking for seafood restaurant in Da Nang, I found another Michelin-guide seafood restaurant (Be Ni 2) to be a far more authentic and delicious experience, provided you don't mind a rowdier atmosphere with no beachfront view (though I'm unsure if it's family-friendly).

All the seafood there are fresh and delicious. But price is super pricey so minus one start. I think you can get a more affordable price elsewhere where. Even in other country which is tourist spot not as high as this price. If you still wanna try. All their signature dish like mantis prawn, crab and lobster are delicious but price is too high . If you order cheaper food like congee the prawn don't taste fresh and is harder texture The fried oyster omelette looks terrible taste ok.
