Food was really good, have tried a lot of dim sum but the ones here is definitely among the top on my list! We tried the: • Kurobuta Char Siew: This was below average, it was too fatty, a bit tough, and not tasty enough. Would not get this again. • Preserved Radish Hor Fun: Good! Very flavourful and wok hei taste was present. • Har Gao: Very good, I liked that the skin was really thin. • Siew Mai with Tobiko: Good, very fresh. • Cheong Fun with Fried Prawn: Cheong fun texture was quite good, soft and thin, but the crispy prawn was a bit underwhelming. Would probably try the normal steamed cheong fun next time. • XO Fried Carrot Cake: This didn't taste like the usual XO fried carrot cake, it was not bad, but perhaps would be even better if they added some XO shrimp sauce. The carrot cake itself could also afford to be tastier. • Steamed Mushroom Dumpling: Delicious, would definitely get this again! • Qinglong Vegetable Dumpling: This was a bit bland, it wasn't really to our preference. • Steamed Chive Dumpling: Good. • Salted Egg Yolk Bun: Very good bun texture, and taste was pretty good. Could be even better if the filling was just slightly saltier. • Glutinous Rice with Chicken: Quite nice, I liked the texture of the rice and appreciated the amount of fillings! • Crab Meat Spring Roll: Not bad, but a bit jelak if you are ordering many fried dishes. • Deep Fried Beancurd Roll: Taste was great, would have liked it if there was a steamed option for this. • Egg Tart: Superb, not too sweet and very fragrant. Service here was great as well. Staff were very on the ball, welcoming, and pro-active. Kudos to the team. Ambience was very good, the seats were comfortable, tables were big and sufficiently spaced apart. Air con was very cooling too, a necessary reprise in this hot weather! Overall, the food and service here impressed me quite a lot. Will definitely be back!

I was attracted to it by its dim sum menu. But when I dined in and viewed all the menus, there were many seafood main dishes. I then recalled it is more a Teochew than Cantonese Restaurant. Nevertheless, the star dishes were Char Siew Bun - sweet, flavourful with good bun meat ratio, Fee fried shrimp bean curd skin roll - well fried yet not oily with fresh prawn meat, Siew Mai - succulent pork and prawn meat steamed just right, Salty Egg Yolk Lava Bun - soft bun texture with liquid lava. I also strongly recommend the glutinous rice oolong. Good taste of the glutinous rice flavour and no tea bitterness. The XO fried carrot cake and seafood fried rice were not well executed. The seasoning wasn’t well distributed. Ambience and dining space was decent but it can get quite glaring during day time as the white roofs from the external structure reflected the sunlight into the restaurant with its many glass windows, with no blinds to deflect.

This was my first time trying dim sum at Fuyuan, and it was surprisingly good! The two of us ordered a whole table full of food 😂 We ordered basically everything: siu mai, spare ribs, rice noodle rolls, and turnip cake. I especially liked the fish roe siu mai, and the spare ribs were delicious and very flavorful. The XO turnip cake was even better than I expected, very fragrant. The egg tarts and sesame balls at the end were also good. The molten filling in the sesame balls was amazing—definitely eat them while they're hot! I was already quite full, but I still finished them all, haha. The ambiance was much more comfortable than typical dim sum restaurants; it was very relaxing to sit and slowly enjoy my food and tea. I'll probably come again next time and try other dishes I haven't ordered yet.

Great food, great experience. We love all the dishes served. Personally, I like the grouper and its broth. The pumpkin lobster sauce is also outstanding. The service by Junjie, Lichee and Xuyang are also attentive.

I was invited by my sister to celebrate my husband birthday with a dim sum treat. The restaurant was quite crowded and almost full. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Service was good, plates were cleared promptly, and service plates were replaced without us even needing to ask. As for the dim sum, some dishes were so-so while others were really tasty, so not every item was a hit for us. We were pleasantly surprised when they served a grand-looking Longevity Peach Buns (shou tao) display together with the birthday cake my sister had brought, and the staff even sang a birthday song. Overall, it was a lovely celebration, and I would definitely come back to try their main dishes.
