We had such a wonderful family lunch here. The setting alone is worth a visit, a beautifully restored heritage building that creates such a special atmosphere. Our server, Jess Khoo, was incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was equally impressive. The red cheong fun is an absolute must order, and the fried rice was spectacular, fragrant, full of flavour and one of the highlights of our meal. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. We left feeling so well looked after and had such a lovely time together as a family. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

Yi consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. We dined there as a family of 8, which included overseas visitors. Everyone was impressed with the exquisite cuisine. The beautiful presentation was a delight to the senses. A special thanks to Aaron Hong whose exceptional hospitality elevated the entire experience. He explained the background behind every dish and attended to our every request, making us feel like honoured guests. We have dined in many establishments in Singapore and overseas. Aaron’s service stands out among the best. We look forward to dining at Yi again. We know the experience will always be memorable.

This is my second visit with Yi by Jereme Leung and I had a wonderful dining experience again where every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The Golden Duck was perfectly prepared with rich, succulent meat, while the cabbage dish was surprisingly delightful with its delicate sweetness and comforting texture. Kelly and Gip Son provided exceptional service with their warm hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care, making us feel truly welcomed throughout the meal. Their professionalism and attention to detail elevated the entire experience, and I look forward to returning again.

We had a very comfortable experience at Yì this afternoon, celebrating my mum’s birthday. The staff were all really friendly and kind, they explained to us the food served and were all attentive. Since it was a special occasion, they kindly asked if we would like photos taken even without us asking. Longevity buns were complimentary and a nice surprise. I love the space, it was cozy and spaced out (not too close to the next table). The textile, ceramics and lighting were really elegant. The food was refreshing and on the lighter side. Overall a lovely experience!

“Chose Set Lunch Menu II. Food-wise it wasn’t very impressive overall, although the appetizer had a nice presentation and tasted good. Overall Portions were quite small, so we added two more dishes – the prawn and the pork collar. In the end, when the staff asked how our lunch was, we pointed out the dish we couldn’t finish because it was just average. The staff gave us a strange look and didn’t ask which dish it was or why it didn’t meet our expectations. That said, the place has a good vibe, suitable for business meet-ups, family meals, or catching up with friends.”

An amazing lunch we had here. Food is of good quality and value. Atmosphere wise really depends on the fellow diners. It’s rather noisy today due to bigger groups in the main dining hall. The service is exceptionally great and we love how Jess shared with us about the dishes and engaged us in the dining experience. She’s lovely and made our time here very pleasant. Attaching some of the dish photos here. We had the set lunch. Almost all items were great. Just the main dish which is the Black Cod was rather too salty (when eaten alone) BUUUTTT the chef coupled that dish with the plainer tasting egg white (that has nice bubble bites) and tangy sour side garnish, that actually made it a well balanced dish still. Overall we love the place and will definitely visit again. Next time maybe we will try out their dim sum variety.

Update: confirm rotten lobster used. Had diarrhea 3 or 4 after the meal. Went for wedding lunch, bridal sg ang bao rate quoted $310 to $340 for 2026 (thanks donald) so use it for your reference. Is a 6 course meal masquerading as an 8. The appetizer seems like 3 dishes but in reality it is more like 4 pieces of food. Prawn: meh Siew mai: miss Char siew: hit Roasted pork: miss Soup: hit Cod fish: hit Corn tofu: hit Lobster ee mian : miss super big miss Dessert : hit Appetizer : not much to say besides prawn is bleh, siew mai too salty, char siew is tender and sweet, roast pork was tough. Soup was herbalish. Looks like a lot but the bowl was shallow. Termite fugus can be easier to chew. Other wise can be finished with spoon. Cod fish was a delight, i like the little touch of red tiny balls that were sour which went well with the fish. Tofu and morel mushrooms was flavorful. Biggest disappointment was the lobster. So bitter. Either cooking technique was off or the ingredients has already started decomposing. No quality control at all. Dessert was poppingly good. Sour more than sweet though. But no complain. Amount for money wise it was down bad. The amount is just soooo little, first time i still feel half empty after a wedding meal. Value for money wise it is worse due the lack of QC for lobster.

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the tables were spaced nicely apart. We mainly selected dim sum dishes, including double boiled abalone soup, steamed crystal dumplings, and pan-fried chicken and shrimp pancakes. The soup was truly exquisite; I regret forgetting to take a picture. On my second visit, I had the double boiled chicken soup with fish maw, which was also very delicious. The red porcini mushroom dumplings were excellent. Overall, the other dim sum dishes were delicious and satisfying. They even made sweet and sour pork for us, which wasn't on the menu – truly befitting a top-class restaurant! The mango dessert was very rich, and the fact that you could enjoy it in different ways – as mango and pomelo on its own, or as a mango pudding – was wonderful. Unfortunately, the recommended durian dessert was disappointing. It wasn't sweet enough and didn't go well with the pastry. The lemongrass jelly was very refreshing, perfectly suited to the season in Singapore, and it was both visually appealing and delicious. Regarding the service, I felt that the service was a little slow at times.
