Came here to eat with friends and secretly surprise a friend for his birthday. We came earlier and asked them to store the cake in the fridge, and they were happy to do so, reminding us to pick it up before we leave. Under the disguise of getting the bill, I went to the counter and asked them to bring out the cake to me so I can prepare and surprise my friend. They were so involved even though they didn’t need to be and even borrowed a lighter for me from their coworkers and even kept an eye on my table while I prepped the cake. They even asked me if they should clear the table first and prepared clean plates on standby for after the surprise 🥹☹️ I feel very grateful that their service was amazing and they served above and beyond what was expected of them. On top of that, the food was also very pleasant and nice. We kept ordering dishes back to back, which made me flustered on when I should pay or bring out the cake LOL.

A Singapore Dim Sum Classic! 🥟🇸🇬 Swee Choon is truly a household name in Singapore and has been serving delicious dim sum for years! ❤️ What keeps me coming back is their consistency. The food is always freshly prepared, well cooked and satisfying. From Har Gao 🦐 and fluffy buns to crispy fried favourites and silky Cheong Fun, there’s something for everyone. The ingredients taste fresh, portions are good, and the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing. 👍 Service is another plus — friendly, efficient and welcoming even when they’re busy. Good food, good service and consistently reliable dim sum! 🥟❤️

The fried rice, xiaolongbao, and cheung fun were all delicious. It seemed to be a place frequented by locals. Since it was evening, there were many families. The food is served on proper ceramic tableware. The menu has pictures, making it easy for foreigners to order. I was very satisfied with the four dishes I chose, all at a reasonable price. I couldn't finish the sweet bean paste bun, and they kindly allowed me to take it home.

I heard a lot about this place from husband who used to live in Singapore so decided to go when we went on holiday. We got an outside table so didn’t have a wait. The radish cake (carrot cake) was my favorite thing. The pork rib and prawn toast were also really good. I was looking forward to the char siu bun but the filling was unexpectedly very sweet. The custard bun was also really good, a good end to the meal. Overall it was a good experience and we found the price also reasonable.

Swee Choon is still a solid supper spot for a casual dim sum fix. The variety is huge and it is easy to go a bit overboard ordering. Food came out quickly and the dim sum was decent overall, with some items better than others. The fried items were probably the highlights, while the steamed dim sum was fairly standard. Nothing particularly mind blowing, but still satisfying for a late night meal. Prices are reasonable considering the portions and variety. Expect it to be crowded, especially during peak hours, so be prepared for some waiting and a rather hectic atmosphere. Service is efficient enough given the crowd, but definitely not the place to come for a quiet or relaxing meal. Overall, a decent and reliable spot for late night dim sum. Not the best dim sum in Singapore, but the wide selection, convenient opening hours and nostalgic supper vibe keep people coming back.

It has been a long while since I have came to this place, and many years along it was the go-to spot when I skated with my juniors here as a dinner/supper spot as it was popular and the food was good. This time round after many years later, I am happy to see that this place has so far had an update, with areas fully air-conditioned and the food is just still as good! Came by on a luncheon and was really happy with the authentic dim sum foods that we have ordered and would love to come back again in future! Highly recommended if you also want a nice place to chat as there are ample space depending on the time you come by on a weekday afternoon.

Bustling and always packed filled with hungry customers! A reliable source to fulfil midnight supper cravings after a long day - filled with great local dim sum dishes & delights! Special mention for their custard “lava”/melting pau - which is a sinful favourite. Other staples such as the Xiao Long Bao “Soup dumpling” and the traditional “Mee Suah” square noodle dish - keeps me coming back regularly!

If you're looking for authentic dim sum, this place is definitely worth a visit. The menu offers a huge variety of steamed, fried, and baked dim sum, so there's something for everyone. What impressed me most was how well-balanced the flavors were. Nothing was overly salty or greasy, allowing the natural taste of each dish to shine. The fried items were crispy without feeling heavy, while the steamed dishes were fresh, delicate, and satisfying. The atmosphere is lively, service is efficient, and despite the crowd, the food arrives fresh and piping hot. Every dish we tried was enjoyable, making it hard to pick a favorite. A fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch with family and friends. Great variety, excellent quality, and flavors that are just perfect. I'll definitely be back!
