Biggest prawn dumplings I’ve ever had, and the best tasting. In fact, everything else I had was delicious: the chicken rice, spare ribs, salt and pepper beancurd skin. And the prices are very value for money. I went around 1 pm, waited in line for about 10 minutes and shared a table with a couple. The resto is not airconditioned, but the taste of their food beats the fancy ones. Next time i’ll have 2 of their spare ribs too. Must eat here if you’re in Singapore and you love dimsum

Nice canto style dim sum… serving staff speaks canto too!! Enjoyed most of the dishes, waiting time for the food is slightly longer than usual. Siew Mai was great though!!

Glad to read that it closed down. Their seating arrangement is so squeezy and the gaps between the tables are so narrow. Once, there was an accident and they didn't even apologise to the innocent party, and instead only offered compensation to the obnoxious fella. The obnoxious fella who demanded the innocent customer to compensate him and scolded him like a maid due to the narrow spaces. What a joke. Clearly, they only cherish their regular (old) customers. Ate there once and never returned. Food was so mediocre, oily and bland. Will never support their toa payoh outlet. Thank you for not opening more outlets. 🙏🏻

Service and food both disappointing. Came during a non-peak period and was in a bit hurry. Before ordering, we asked the uncle if the dim sum could be served quickly, and he said yes. After waited for a while we checked again. The lady at the counter seemed quite annoyed and said You must wait. Not so fast. We asked how much longer. Another uncle raised his voice and said, “It’s still steaming, how can it be so fast?” We said they told us no need to wait. He immediately corrected loudly No need to wait for making! Need to wait for steaming! After he shouted the food came out immediately — and was only warm. Obviously had already been cooked earlier, chilled, and then reheated by steaming. It wasn’t tasty either. Way too salty. Used to come here quite often when I was studying nearby 6–7 years ago. Also recommended to quite a lot of family and friends before. But after this I won’t be coming back again

The siew mai and polo bun was pretty good. Love that they give a huge slab of butter for the bun.

Food quality is dismal and overpriced. Standard has declined. Lava bao has solid pieces of salted yolk within. Number of pieces of ingredients in porridge could be counted on one hand. Vege & prawn dumplings were salty. Fried prawn roll had super chewy pieces of prawns. Chrysanthemum tea was watered-down. The only saving grace was the prawn chee cheong fun. Worst $35 spent on a few plates of food so far.

From bad to worst. Standard dropped so low that i felt frozen dimsum from supermarket taste better. This will be my last visit
