Sorry but this my first negative review on Google. Hate to have to say this but this place has lost the plot.
Food is not bad but just about everything else is terrible.
Service/organisation is jarring and confusing- QR code for menu but can only order through the waiters (if/when you can get their attention).
On the other hand, wine has to be SEPERATELY ordered and paid via a different QR / app, after which the service staff hands you a paper token, and you go to a machine (like in airport lounge) to dispense your glass of wine. Then you find out that a glass in this restaurant is actually just HALF A GLASS (90ml, the machine LCD screen proudly displays it, after you have ordered and paid with the app at the table). Just for context, Google says that a standard measure for a glass of wine is 125-250ml.
Then when you are eating and chatting, the staff who we have difficulty catching the attention of, comes to interrupt your meal not once but multiple times to ask if you are done and clear away the dishes.
Out of the staff there, we saw only one lady who offered decent service, rest were really not welcoming and simply not serving the customers. Other table had to walk to the serving staff to ask to place their order, after giving up on trying to get their attention.
I walked out feeling shortchanged (calling 1/2 glass of wine for 1 glass, small serving sizes) and unwelcomed. Terrible experience.
True Cost has truly lost the entire concept of providing value, serving and service. Not many restaurants manage it to hit such a low point on all 3. I am not exaggerating that this is a new low in dining experience for me.
