everything i had here was so good. i got the large tora-san kaisen san and mount fuji kaisen san, and there was so much sashimi of such good quality! everything in the bowl was soo yummy, and the furikake added a really nice touch to the rice too. i also enjoyed the asama sashimi platter, as the sashimi was very thick and fresh. my favourite was the salmon for sure. the sesame tofu was also really yummy and an enjoyable side dish. the miso soup also deserves a special mention, it was so flavourful and was unlike the usual miso soups served in restaurants. it had vegetables in it and was so light. i enjoyed the complimentary yuzu slushie too! the service was very good and the staff were very attentive even though it was busy during dinner time. although it is a little on the pricey side, i think it is quite reasonable for the quality you are getting. i really enjoyed my time dining here and i will be back!

Friendly waitress. Cool vibes. Hotate was very fresh and sweet. Wasabi and soya sauce tasted great. Tofu was pleasant appetizer. The red shrimp was a little undercooked but its not too bad. Maybe im not used to red shrimp. It had mayonnaise so it was still acceptable for me. The fuji kaisendon looked gigantic (maybe that's 4 pax) on Picture but is not as big as I thought (1 pax). The hotato was fresh and has natural sweetness. Tuna was tasty. Salmon was better than average sushi chain. Shredded crab meat was somehow more watery than i expected. The vinegar rice was perfectly on point with the furikake. :P Overall, its quite enjoyable dinner. Love that we get complimentary yuzu slushy dessert during dinner hours.

Tora-San Chiraishi & Donburi at Grantral Mall serves up authentic Japanese Street Dinning experience. Really glad that I decided to give this restaurant a try. For the food portions, the price point was just right too. Tried their Tori-San Bara Chiraishi Don and it's so yummy! Generous topping of fresh seafood. Finished the meal with a complimentary glass of refreshing yuzu freeze. Will come back to try out their other menu choices. 👍😋

$93 for lunch for 2, totally satisfied!! 😍 We ordered the Mount Fuji, which comes with fresh raw seafood and rice. The staff recommended it, and it was really nice and fresh! The unagi and rice were so delicious, especially the rice , tastes so good! We loved it! ❤️ The salmon sashimi was super fresh and yummy, and even the drinks were really nice. The service was quite good too. Will definitely come again! 😋✨

Came here for a farewell lunch and, to be honest, I was a little skeptical at first. Thankfully, the food turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The lunch set is slightly on the pricey side, but I felt it was worth the money. I ordered the Saba Don, and it was delicious. The saba was grilled perfectly, with crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat. The dining area is a little cramped, especially during lunch hours, but the quality of the food made up for it. It probably won’t be my regular lunch spot because of the price, but I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m craving a good Japanese meal. Definitely worth a try!

The staff are friendly and responsive. We were served by Catherine and she really knows the menu inside out :) The sashimi are fresh and food in general are good too! Will come back again for sure!

No less than excellent! The floor staff are very friendly and does their job well. From my Point of view I see the kitchen staff actively preparing stuff as well (cutting fruits etc) even when there are no more customers (its 4:30pm++) hence the empty seats but trust me. You come here during the night or lunch.. it's FULL-HOUSE! The aesthetics of this place is pretty solid as well. Seating layouts are planned and spaced well too! It's food places like these that I appreciate! Price: $$-$$$ Worth the price for the dining experience.
