This is a cozy dinner/support spot that's bound to satisfy cravings! They have a reasonably extensive menu that includes rice bowls, udon, yakitori (charcoal grilled!), and side dishes. We were surprised that the food was incredibly tasty, leaving us satisfied and looking forward to the next visit. We an assortment of yakitori and particularly enjoyed the chicken skewers as they were tender and flavorful. The beef donburi with mentaiko sauce and onsen egg was perfect; medium rare steak and creamy sauce. The beef udon was comforting and as was the katsu curry don.

Food: 9.3/10 Quality of the food is very good. I love their Yakitori and Gyudon. Gyudon - gives alot of meat, very generous plus rice and seasoning is perfect. Yakitori pork, chicken (7.8/10) is pretty good, good the yakitori authentic taste. Mentaiko fries 9.7/10, fresh hot fries with mentaiko on top and they torch it from above. One of the great mentaiko fries i had in Singapore Chawamoshi 7.1/10, pretty average. I will be come back again for other dishes. Many variety. Service Food serve fast and hot, love it, the crew is also very nice and fast hand. 8/10 Atmosphere Is abit small but just nice for the crowd, crowd control is good.

Love the vibes and songs played in the restaurant! This place opens till late so it's a good spot for a late dinner or supper. What we ordered: - Salmon sashimi - Agedashi Tofu - Chashu Udon - Pork Katsu Curry Don The best thing we ordered was the Agedashi Tofu and Chashu Udon. The agedashi came with 3 big pieces and the umami from the sauce paired with the crispy skin of the tofu was amazing. The chashu from the udon came in a seperate plate, and was very tender and tasted great. The pork katsu was good and crispy, but the curry is your standard affair. Take note that the curry is the spice that builds over time. Lastly, the sashimi is ok but too pricy for the quality. (One of the servers was biting their nails, bad habit to have for F&B)

This is a cosy and charming little Japanese restaurant, mainly in udon and rice bowls. We ordered their signature udon — the broth is a light and clear soy sauce soup with shiitake mushrooms, Japanese fish cakes, seaweed, and chopped green onions. It instantly whetted my appetite, even though I hadn’t been feeling hungry at first! The noodles were wonderfully springy, and the broth was sweet and savoury. What really impressed me was the asparagus and pork belly — it was full of rich, meaty flavour and perfectly grilled. It's definitely worth a try!

Cosy, quiet restaurant that is just opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre. Food was good, our favourites were the salmon sashimi & potato salad. Chawanmushi was okay, nothing fantastic. The quail egg skewer was a miss, but the chicken yakitori had a nice smoky flavour to it. Ebi Tempura was a bit of a letdown, can skip that. We especially enjoyed the Chashu Don, but felt that the Truffle Wagyu Don paled in comparison. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience. Thank you for having us!

Ordered some sides to try first but they turned out really bad… tamago was frozen food heated up and very dry cost about $11 plus and chawanmushi was over steamed as well. Had some skewers but they didn’t turn out good; the quail egg was overcooked and was very dry so luckily didn’t order any mains and went to find another dinner location. Rather disappointing experience

The wagyu beef don was simple but done well. The overall don was not too dry as there was an onsen egg and some sauce inside. The sauce was leaning tangy which serves to cut through the oilyness. The beef was cooked decently, a little tough for me but otherwise the flavour is good. There is an adequate amount of salt, sometimes a little numbness from the sansho shines through. The exterior occasionally slightly crispy. A little tobiko to add some textural pop rounds up this dish.

Went today for supper and ordered the curry don and buta don, along with a few side dishes. Every dish was flavorful, with generous portions and perfectly cooked rice. Service was good and efficient, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. After trying their Pasar Malam stall in Sembawang, this was our first visit to their actual store—and it did not disappoint. Overall, a great spot for a decent Japanese meal. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
