Fukudon

Definitely the best stall in the Marine Parade hawker center for us: good food, healthy, fast service and friendly staff. My little kid loves the salmon don and we feel safe to let her eat at this stall even a few times a week as the ingredients seem fresh and good quality. The beef udon is also very kid friendly. I myself enjoy the pork collar don - the slightly burnt taste is sooo good. Thank you to the stall owner and staff for the every day tasty healthy food - you help us more than you think! ❤️ P.S: Dinner time around 7pm is their peak hour and waiting time could be longer, ie. 15 mins.

Chef Remus and team executed the 3 dishes we ordered amazingly well. We ordered the sukiyaki gyudon ; Beef was tender and well marinated , perfect balance between savoury and sweetness Pork katsu bowl ; Don’t be fooled by the hawker setting, the pork used had a perfect balance of fat to lean mean ratio. It shows that chef has intentionally chosen this type and cut of pork for this effect. Every component was well thought out and placed in the dish. Salmon-Don ; Once again, it came with a Goma-salad and a chunk of salmon grilled to perfection that would put some “proper” restaurants to shame. All of the dishes above came with the don base of Japanese pearl rice (prepared well because every grain is separated) , egg+onion omelette cooked in their special sauce. Honestly , paying less than $10 per bowl for the quality of ingredients received , as well as the expertise of chef and team, it is a STEAL. For those who hasn’t tried Fukudon, what are you waiting for. It is the rare few spots where I dare say I not afraid to recommend ! Big thanks Chef and team ! P.s. absolutely delicious and fresh tasting shoyu salmon don, with amazing portions of salmon and veggies :) the sauce coated perfectly on the fluffy soft rice as well as the vegetables and salmon to give the most perfect and hearty bite every time!! the fries were absolutely spectacular, had the nicest crunch without being hard and had such a delicious, well-cooked interior! the curry sauce was like an elevated version of McDonalds one :) went super well with the fries! not to mention, the portion was super generous, a roughly $4 serving of fries fed 2 people well :) would definitely patronise again! such good quality food at such affordable prices, and such a humble and friendly owner too!! :)

I often grab lunch at this Marine Parade hawker center spot. 🍜 The food is consistently good, healthy, and delicious. Service is quick and reliable, usually getting my order in about 5 minutes. ⏱️ The atmosphere is quite pleasant too. 😊 Definitely a go-to! 👍

Saw a short queue for this stall and decided to give it a try. Ordered the spicy garlic pork collar don ($7.50) and a side of chix karaage ($5.80). Waited a good 15 mins for my food but it was quite worth the wait. Garlic pork collar is well marinated and really tasty. There’s also pickled cucumbers and an onsen egg in it. Egg was abit overcooked but i kinda like it that way. Ever since a freak incident in the past i’m abit afraid of onsen egg that’s too raw or undercooked. The chix karaage comes with a special curry mayo sauce that imo is like a zhnged version of mcd’s curry sauce. I super liked it. Goes really well with the fried chix that’s crispy and chunky! Overall i enjoyed my meal v much!

I found this place as I live nearby. It is truly one of my favourites places to go to and Remus (the owner) is so friendly ! I highly recommend and honestly everything on the menu is so good.

I’ve eaten here almost every week for > 1 year, this is my go-to stall at the hawker centre and I’ve since tried 95% of the menu 🥰 Yes, it’s a bit pricier than your usual hawker fare but it’s well worth it - the portions are sizeable, they offer diverse high-protein options, and the quality of the food is consistent as well. It’s also located in the quieter section of the hawker centre - so it’s usually pretty easy to find a seat. My go-to is the Sous Vide Chicken Don (less rice!), for a no brainer easy high-protein meal. Other favourites: Mentaiko Salmon Don, Chicken Karaage (it may be a side but it’s huuuuuuge), Spicy Garlic Pork Collar Don, and the Pork Belly Katsu Don. The guys are friendly as well, unless they’re packed with orders - they always accompany collection of the bowl with a “enjoy your lunch!”. Thanks for fuelling my lunch and making it much more enjoyable 🫶🏻

I eat the mentaiko salmon don every week. Tried most of the menu before and everything slaps. They always have some form of vege in the don which makes it very balanced. I recommend the spicy pork collar don, mentaiko salmon don, miso salmon don and crunchy fries with curry mayo.
