Brought the family (including our two young kids) here today and was really impressed by the service. The team was very responsive and responsible throughout. Special shoutout to the outlet manager — he was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure our kids were comfortable. He even took the time to assure us that our food was on the way, which made a big difference. Food was good as expected, but the service really stood out. It’s not often you get this level of care, especially with children. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend this outlet.

We are regulars of the brand but our first experience with the service at Jewel outlet blew us away. The whole team is amazing but we want to specially praise two staff members both named Kelvin. Kelvin in black uniform was incredibly warm and treated everyone like friends, chatting effortlessly with both adults and kids. Kelvin in white was super attentive, keeping a close eye on our table and sharing great tips on how to enjoy the dishes. We were also highly impressed by the proactive service. The cabbage, soup, and rice are free flow, the staff consistently approached us to offer refills before we ever had to call for attention. A special shout out to the kitchen as well. The Tonkatsu here was felt crispy and tender than what we’ve had at other branches! The vibe here is wonderful and the small touches make all the difference. Highly recommend this branch and we’ll definitely return!

Tonkatsu Ma Maison is of our favourite restaurants when we have our Katsu Curry cravings. We started visiting their first store at Mandarin Gallery since its opening. The service at Jewel branch is awesome and well run by Manager Kelvin who never fail to smile & remembers the regulars. Their Tonkatsu, Katsu Don and Side Curry is very well prepared and my Japanese colleague even commented that it is better than what he had in Japan hence to him, Best in Singapore too😉 They have unlimited refills for the cabbage, soup, rice too. Definitely a place to go for any Katsu Don, Katsu Curry & Tonkatsu lover🫶🏻

was craving tonkatsu while at jewel with my family and decided to queue for this newly opened spot after seeing the long line… typical singaporean behaviour honestly HAHA and because of that, our expectations ended up being quite high too visited on a sunday evening and waited around 30 to 40 minutes before getting seated. one thing that confused us at first was the difference between the rosu and hire cuts, but the staff explained that rosu is fattier and juicier while hire is leaner and supposedly more premium, so we decided to try both to share the fried coating for both cuts was actually really crispy and nicely done, but unfortunately the pork itself was quite disappointing. we started with the rosu katsu set and while the pieces with fat were more enjoyable, the meat itself was quite dry and tough. thankfully the sauces on the table helped bring out more flavour for the hire katsu set, i honestly had higher expectations after hearing it was the more premium cut, but sadly this one was even tougher to chew. the coating was crispy again, but the pork itself felt very dry and it became quite unenjoyable after a while because of how much chewing was needed surprisingly, the highlight for us ended up being the deep fried oysters. they were fresh, juicy and fried really well which was not something i expected to enjoy the most here also appreciated that they provided complimentary rice and soup refills which was definitely a plus point. overall, i personally would not return mainly because the pork cuts were lacking flavour and texture wise were too tough for me, but if i ever came back, it would honestly just be for the oysters

Regularly visited the westgate branch and decided to try the jewel branch on Friday. There was a queue and we queued up and the manager was very nice in managing the queue. After 20 plus of waiting in queue, we were led to our seat. The rice was more moist than the westgate branch and bigger bowl. The tonjiru soup was not as flavourful as the westgate branch. Price was more than westgate branch but understandable because is airport. Service could be better with so many staff walking around but failing to see if ice tea, cabbage, rice or soup need refilling. I mean since it offer free flow rice soup and cabbage, should proactive ask if customers want instead of customers keep waving and flagging for refills.

Love the fact that it is affordable with an option for a refillable rice, cabbage and soup when you go with the medium servings. Amazed by the soft and crispy coating of the chicken. It was so good to the point that I’ll definitely be back with my family members. Sauce serving with every table by the side, sweet sauce, spicy sauce, sesame dressing for salad, salt etc.

Dun know why my last review been deleted. Their service very bad. Double standard for different customer only serve customer that look rich. Look down for young customer. Complain to the manager, he ask back “Are you child” very unprofessional. And the experience is very very bad. They no care about customer sevice, no people respond to customer complaints.
