Ramen KIOU

Ramen Kiou for many years still one of the best ramen options in SG in my opinion. The restaurant always have tasty Japanese-style springy noodles. They have infographics on their tables which changes layout over the years but it is a joy to read while waiting for the ramen. Personal Favourite ramen there are: Tomato Cheese Ramen / Tomato Chashu Ramen, the tangy tomato with tonkotsu soup that has diced tomato with the ramen is so savory! The original Signature Tonkotsu Ramen is always a hit as well, perfect amount of saltiness in a rich savory broth, accompanying ingredients of black fungus, bamboo shoots and 1 ajitsuke tamago (marinated egg). Very friendly and fast service! Will come here for a good bowl of ramen!

My family had a wonderful dinner experience at Ramen Kiou (Jurong Point branch)! A big thank you to Elvie and the team for their warm hospitality and attentive service. The restaurant is very family and kids-friendly, which made dining with our children a pleasant and stress-free experience. Most importantly, our children kept saying how delicious the food was! You can truly taste their commitment to serving an “Honest Bowl of Goodness” since 1995. The ramen was comforting, flavorful, and satisfying for the whole family. Thank you Elvie and team for making our evening so enjoyable. We look forward to coming back again!

I had a very unpleasant experience at Ramen KIOU today. We placed our order through the QR scan code system and had already completed the payment using Apple Pay. However, before serving our food, a staff member came to our table and told us that we needed to make payment first. I explained that we had already paid, and the staff asked, “How did you pay?” After I showed the Apple Pay receipt, the staff said they would check again. Only after confirming the payment was successful did they finally serve our food. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that the customers sitting next to us were allowed to finish their meals and pay later at the counter, while we were specifically approached and questioned before our food was served. It felt unfair and left us quite disappointed with the customer service experience. I hope the staff can handle situations like this more professionally and treat all customers equally in the future.

Decent Tonkotsu Ramen although soup was very rich so got abit Jelak towards the end. Service was great.

Food was delicious 🤤. Would like to compliment on the excellent customer service of the manager Elvie who was warm and friendly.

The Ramen is SO GOOD!!!! I wil easilyl recommend the Ramen there, it taste extremely good. The service is good. The waiter is very nice and very patient. The atmosphere is quite good as it id easy to talk.

We had lunch at Ramen Kiou Jurong Point. The food was pretty good especially the Chashu Don. However, what made the meal exceptional was the service of the assistant manager, Joo Yee. He was extremely helpful, especially when you compared it to the service for another ichiban outlet at Compas One. Joo Yee proactively wanted to help us to write in to their HQ to reimburse us the points which Compass One failed to due to technical issues. Compass One staff just told us straight that nothing could be done, and we had to forfeit the points. Joo Yee also gave us complimentary warm water after seeing us having 2 don sets which might be pretty dry. We will revisit the restaurant again!
