Used to enjoy ippudo back 10 over years ago, but today's bowl was shocking. Just look at the amount of fats floating in the soup and on top of the charsiew. I didn't enjoy my ramen, and I couldn't slurp the soup as it was way too fatty. Apart from the fact that their lunch set was quite value for money, I would think you can give this chain a miss, or at least this outlet. The takoyaki that came with the set was nice though.

Decent ramen place for a quick lunch . Menu nothing too fancy. Love the broth of the Bonito tonkatsu ramen . Crispy corn ...can pass . Soso . Should have just grilled the corn and avoid the tempura crispy on the top . Ice cream doable to satisfy a sweet tooth post meal. They serve cold water complimentatry.

Have been visiting Ippudo since their early days at Mandarin Gallery and Mohamed Sultan when the menu was still very ramen-focused. Their ramen is still consistently good, but the much wider menu today feels like it has taken some focus away from the ramen itself. The tonkotsu broth, while still rich and flavourful, doesn’t quite have the same punch and aroma that once made Ippudo the go-to place for tonkotsu ramen. Our usual orders are the Akamaru or Karaka-men, both richer and bolder with the added paste in the broth. We also always ask for the noodles to be cooked firmer, as the default doneness tends to be slightly soft for our liking. The char siu remains reliably good—tender with light charring. Besides their classic pan-fried gyoza, the crispy corn is another favourite with nice spicy, savoury notes.

Had the bonito broth ramen, find that the broth is too sweet, and salty. Overpowers the bonito and tonkotsu flavour. Will be better to tone down on the salt and sugar added. Overall still a pretty good bowl of ramen, with a hint of yuzu from the mentaiko addition. Slightly pricey. I think their menu has grown too extensive for them to focus on just making good ramen. Just my two cents.

Initially captivated by the gracious greetings and attentive service from Cassey. Among the four distinct ramen bowls we requested, the Seasonal Ramen: Cha Shu Ramen is not advisable 👎 given their excessively salty and greasy broth. I observed that this overpowered the flavorful cuts of pork (Cha Shu); it merely served to contribute to elevated my cholesterol and blood pressure levels 😅

This 2nd review is for the ramen with miso which turned to be salty in a nice way. A repeat for sure. Service was good and delivery was super fast, within 5 minutes we got our two bowls. Had the ice lemon tea which was good too. A repeat in near future for ramen. 2025 December Review #2 ========================= The classic ramen broth (Shiromaru Motoaji) is pretty good. Chashu pork is very soft. Presentation is near perfect. The salad is tasty with the dressing, also well plated. The truffles fries quantity is lacking however the taste is nice. Food was dished out fast. A repeat for ramen if in the area. 2025 October Review #1

Meat was cold. (Mushroom was good though) There were flies. Chopsticks either unclean or worn out badly. Service staff Cassey was rude.

Came on a weekday for lunch. Had the Brussel sprouts, ramen and mini chashu rice here. Their broths come in chicken, pork based or both. Food is delicious but some broths are a tad oily. A good experience overall.
