A Disappointing Dining Experience – We Will Not Return Dear Manager, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the dining experience my friend and I had at your restaurant today, 15 July 2026, at around 2:00 PM. Upon arrival, we noticed that the entrance was only half open, with the barrier partially moved aside. There were no other customers in the restaurant; only a few staff members were seated at the far end, apparently on a break. Despite it being past the regular lunch hour, we decided to enter, as we had visited your restaurant before and genuinely enjoyed the food. We were seated promptly and placed our order at approximately 2:10 PM for two ramen set meals, each including dumplings. The first set meal and two glasses of iced tea arrived quickly. However, by the time my friend had almost finished his meal, the second set had still not appeared. At 2:28 PM, I approached a staff member to check on the status, and was told that our second order had been overlooked and would only then be prepared. I found this explanation difficult to accept – we had ordered two identical sets on a single receipt, so why was only one prepared? And if both drinks were served correctly, why was the kitchen not informed of the full order? With only one table of guests in the entire restaurant, there was no reason for a lack of follow-through. What troubled me even more was the way the matter was handled at checkout. The supervisor offered to waive the entire bill, including the second set and the extra drink. I declined. We had consumed the first set, and I firmly believe in paying for what we actually received. What I expected, instead, was a sincere apology, not a casual excuse about a "lost ticket." I insisted on paying for the items we had eaten, including the 10% service charge – though I must say, in all honesty, I did not feel that the service rendered justified that fee. Tonkatsu was quite thick with little fat, large potions. Freshly breaded and fried, not too oily or soggy when served. Free flow cabbage with soy or sesame sauce, staff were attentive to refil when asked. Quite crowded at 7pm.

Passed by holiday 6pm without much dinner crowd and decided to try out the food. Ordered one signature thick-cut Katsu set. The pork slices are really thick and yet tender without feeling too fatty. Set also comes with free flow of rice, soup and cabbage. Also ordered a Premium black tonkotsu ramen - nice garlic aroma and tasty pork slice. Food has no issue. Atmosphere has no issue. Service has big issue. Order the katsu set waited 45 minutes and customers who came later has their food served and we were still waiting. Upon checking in with the staff, the mere answer was still preparing, first they say the ramen takes long and our ramen was served 20 minutes ago and wife has already finished, then they say the Katsu takes long and our neighbour who came later has been severed with their katsu. Finally the manager came and just told us, the rice bowl with the meat takes long. And there is nothing she can do, and if we are unhappy just leave a comment. So here I am leaving you a comment miss manager for your “EXCELLENT” service attitude. Edit: After reading the 1 star reviews totally validated my point.

Actually really good! But the pork is quite stingy lol. So thin but the soup is really nice

I was greeted by a whiff of fishy smell from the unagi in my bowl the moment it was brought to the table. The dry ramen was lumpy and did not have a good bite texture. The seafood tofu we ordered looked like nuggets and tasted like hashbrowns. I’m not sure how to feel about it.

Got the Original Mazesoba as well as the Premium Black Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was very rich and I wasn’t expecting the umami punch. Would give a 4.5 stars if I could!

I like them for the consistently delicious food that suit our taste buds (not too salty, ample veggies), comfy seats and personable service. They are not the HaiDiLao, Din Tai Fung kind of service but the nice kind that will attend to your requests to make changes, separate sauce etc to the best of their ability. Plus, my son likes their kids meal so we come here often. If only their variety can increase abit (more non katsu dishes), I'll visit even more often.
