JUMBO Seafood - Jewel

Brought my overseas friend who just landed in Singapore on a tight business trip schedule to eat here last night near to closing time. We ordered chili crab and fried buns with a beancurd. Unfortunately, both my friend and I experienced diarrhoea and stomach discomfort after the meal. This is despite my friend having a strong stomach. Thinking back, the food was served slightly cold. Considering the steep prices at Jumbo, I had expected a better quality of food. It is disappointing and upsetting. I recommend that you review the quality and cleanliness of the food served. Last time I was here was 7 years ago. Safe to say, I will not be visiting again.

Had a wonderful dining experience here! The crab was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection — definitely the highlight of the meal. The staff (Tina and Hong) were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout. Service was prompt and professional. Although the air conditioning in the private room was faulty, the team arranged an air cooler to ensure our comfort, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality seafood and great hospitality!” Will definitely go back again.

First time in Jewel location. Food is fabulous as usual but stands out in this location is the wonderful staff specifically Ms. Tina Huang. She was extremely attentive and went above and Beyond service call. She treat us like VIP even though we are not. Our tea are always too us and she professionalism shines through. She is a keeper for the organization! I like this location better as I feel the ambience is better and with AC. Very pleasant to have family conversations and connections. The pork coffee ribs is a must Ty besides chilli crabs. Wasabi shrimp was big n plump. Definitely fresh. Highly recommend. We will be back!

The banquet food was great overall, with plenty of flavour‑bomb dishes that really stood out. The only letdown was the noodles, which felt underwhelming in comparison. Fortunately, the dessert that followed was delicious and ended the meal on a high note. The service was excellent. Gloves and bibs were provided, which was a thoughtful touch to keep our clothes and hands clean throughout the meal.

An unforgettable CNY dinner at Jumbo Jewel! The flavours were so uniquely Singaporean — rich, bold, and incredibly satisfying. Every dish was a hit, and our table couldn’t stop complimenting the food. It truly felt like a celebration in every bite. The seafood was especially impressive — fresh, generously portioned, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and consistency that Jumbo is famous for. A big shoutout to Tina for her outstanding service. She was warm, professional, and very attentive throughout the entire dinner. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and that we were comfortable at all times. Her service elevated the whole experience. It was a memorable evening for all of us, and we will most definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience at Jumbo Seafood, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Tina. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal. Tina made us feel so welcome and took the time to explain the menu and give great recommendations. Her service was efficient without feeling rushed, and she checked in at just the right moments to make sure everything was perfect. It really made our dining experience extra special. We arrived late afternoon for some Jumbo crab to be pleasantly reminded of the 50% promotion for the Alaskan crab. Having had this before and as it was a milestone celebration, I decided to order this for the family. As happens in the F&B industry, an incident occured where I was offered the slightly smaller size crab only to be told it was later sold out. Perhaps another customer ordered at same time or genuine mistake, the point here is the ability of the restaurant manager Kelvin to manage the situation was exemplary. Kudos to his leadership and ability to manage a tricky situation whilst maintaining a high customer service bar! The food was amazing. Nothing like the pepper crab which disappeared from the table!

My hub and I ordered 2 bamboo clams and 2 mud crabs - 1 steamed and 1 hold-to-serve chilli. waited over 40mins for our steamed crab while others were served and half way thru their chilli crab before ours came. Thinking we will need to wait another 40mins for our 2nd crab, we ask to prepare our chilli crab when we are half way through. Lo and behold, came in 10mins, warm but not hot chilli crabs. Disappointing.. it must have been cooked in batches and left to keep warm for serving and not cooked to order; since chilli crab is their signature. It’s still nice, but not as good when served hot.
