We dropped by for lunch and had the whole place to ourselves because they seem to focus mostly on the dinner crowd. Keep in mind there is no A/C, so it gets incredibly hot during the day. I would highly recommend coming for dinner instead. The crab soup with greens (Ghẹ nấu rau muống) was excellent. The greens actually tasted more like sweet potato leaves than morning glory. The crab meat was remarkably sweet and fresh, and the broth had a subtle spicy kick that really opened up our appetite. The seafood fried glass noodles (Miến xào hải sản) featured incredibly sweet pineapple chunks, and the noodles absorbed all the savory flavors beautifully. It came loaded with shrimp, squid, and wood ear mushrooms, making for a perfectly balanced savory dish. For the salt and pepper mantis shrimp (Tôm tít rang muối), the owner went above and beyond by helping us peel them, which was amazing service. The shrimp were packed with rich roe. We also tried the lemongrass stir-fried clams (Hến xào). The herbal flavor was a bit too intense for my personal liking, but it came with a complimentary baguette for dipping into the sauce. The bread had a lovely buttery aroma and tasted delicious. To top it all off, they even treated us to a complimentary plate of watermelon at the end of our meal. Great food and fantastic service.

Among the seafood joints in Da Nang, Be Nu holds a curious place. It sits in Alley 267 Ngo Quyen. The place is small. It has the feel of the outskirts of Hoi An, or some familiar village back in Quang Nam. A quiet patch of sky hangs over the tables. Low brick walls run around the yard. In the corner, a jackfruit tree bends under the weight of its fruit. Further off, in the neighbor’s yard, a mango tree stands heavy with green fruit, drawing every eye. The seafood tanks are bright and clean. By six in the evening, the tables begin to fill. Chinese, Vietnamese, Westerners. They come because of the good words written about the place on the internet. I ordered the pufferfish stewed with turmeric, mantis shrimp in garlic butter, squid egg hotpot, grilled stingray, steamed clams, and tamarind crab. The food came fast. One dish after another, neat upon the table. When the bill came, it was just a little over one million dong. Then, you understood why they keep coming back.

I stumbled upon this restaurant in a comment on a thread, and I was absolutely thrilled with the food. The owner suggested dishes that were incredibly reasonable, and there was no haggling at all. The food was super cheap; for four people, the total bill was 1,250,000 VND. If we hadn't ordered the crab, it would have been even cheaper, but the crab was totally worth it. The best dish was the mantis shrimp in garlic butter sauce. It was incredibly well-made, the sauce was perfect for dipping bread. My family even had to order more bread to finish off the sauce! I give this restaurant a 10 out of 10. The food, ambiance, and service were all excellent. In short, I will definitely come back. Looking at the pictures makes me so hungry!

I've eaten at this restaurant 4-5 times already, but only now am I writing a review. Generally speaking, it's a hidden gem. Everyone should try it. Don't hesitate to go to the tank and choose your seafood; the owners give detailed and transparent pricing. Most of the seafood is freshly caught, so it will vary depending on the day you visit. The restaurant is small, so if possible, call ahead to avoid disappointment. This is my most recent bill; two people ate until they were completely full. Must try the scallops and stir-fried clams!

I happened to book accommodation in this area, and feeling hungry, I opened my map app to search. I visited after seeing a review by a Korean person praising the food. It is difficult to get there by car, but I was able to take a motorcycle Grab right to the front of the shop. It is a truly authentic local seafood restaurant. It is tucked away in a bit of a corner, so it is hard to find unless you are a local. True to its local style, the tables are set up outdoors and are low. Because of my flight schedule, I didn't plan on eating a lot; I just wanted to taste the food. I ordered the lobster mentioned in the reviews and the sea snail dish that the Korean person had eaten. Is it delicious? Yes, it is. It is strangely delicious. I asked for the food to be prepared quickly, and the owner got it ready fast. Seafood prices are typically calculated by weight, so I ordered thinking I wouldn't bother haggling over the price even if they didn't calculate it exactly as described. However, they later calculated the price honestly based on weight. Since I didn't know how to eat the lobster, they peeled it for me one by one. I just took all the sea snails out and ate them, but I recommend removing the poop before eating. It is quite chewy. It is a seafood restaurant that is considerably cheaper compared to other places. The location is a bit of a letdown, but the owner was so kind that I didn't even bother taking the change. I didn't have time to eat all the bread and crispy rice, but I keep thinking about the taste of the sauce and the food. However, it is true that the dishes I ordered were a bit cumbersome to eat. If the owner hadn't peeled the lobsters for me, I probably wouldn't have been able to properly eat even half of them. It feels more like a gourmet experience than just filling up on quantity. We ordered three large lobsters and a stir-fried sea snail dish, and the total came to 285,000 VND. That's about the price of a one-hour cheap massage. The choice is yours.

We received a wonderfully warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The owners were incredibly attentive, taking plenty of time for us and showing and explaining everything in detail. It was clear how much effort they put into making their guests feel comfortable. We had lobster with a delicious sauce and grilled fish with lemongrass 😍. Both were absolutely delicious! The sauces, in particular, were a real highlight. Overall, a truly lovely evening with fantastic service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food. We would love to come back again!

Come here instead of those big seafood place/ tourist trap! We got oysters, grilled prawns, snails, and a 1.3kg stone grouper. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Lady boss took care of us like a mom, constantly checking in on us to make sure we were eating well. We were so full at the end of the meal but lady boss still gave us cut dragonfruit and mangoes to bring back.

Incredibly delicious! You can’t imagine there are very nice restaurant here! Although the environment is not very good without the air-conditioner.
