The restaurant is quite close to the beach, with a normal view and an open space. Fresh seafood is available in tanks. Prices are listed and quoted when ordering. My family ordered grilled oysters with cheese, which were delicious; steamed clams with lemongrass were also good; and we had sea snails in garlic butter sauce and Singaporean-style spicy prawns served with bread. The food quality was quite good. I didn't particularly like the Singaporean-style prawns. I think grilled prawns with salt, pepper, and lime would probably be tastier. The food service was neither fast nor slow. The staff were somewhat clumsy, slow, and lacked initiative. After customers finished their meals, the staff didn't proactively clear or replace plates/bowls; they just waited for customers to remind them. The food presentation was decent, nothing to complain about. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, and I would visit again.

Nhà Hàng Biển Việt – Đà Nẵng Đà Nẵng has no shortage of seafood restaurants, but Biển Việt earns its place through solid sourcing and a kitchen that mostly knows what to do with good product. The mantis shrimp was the standout — split and wok-tossed with garlic and spring onion, the flesh sweet and just cooked through, aromatics caramelised to exactly the right edge. The squid in stone pot, lightly steamed with ginger and chives, showed admirable restraint: tender, clean, texturally precise, with a well-balanced chilli soy alongside. The clams in lemongrass broth were fragrant and bright, the shellfish plump and evenly opened, the herb-piled bowl a welcome counterpoint to the richer dishes. Even the stir-fried morning glory was properly done — high heat, vivid green, golden garlic on top. The Japanese scallops told a slightly different story. The product itself was genuinely good — fresh, sweet, generous in size — but the kitchen buried it under an excess of fried shallots that overpowered every bite. A lighter hand here would have made this the best dish on the table. Oiliness was also a recurring note across the spread, noticeable enough to mention for those who prefer cleaner, lighter preparations. Minor grievances aside, Biển Việt is a reliable, unpretentious seafood house doing honest work with quality ingredients. The crustaceans and stone pot dishes are where the kitchen shines brightest. Worth a return.

I just finished a lovely meal at this authentic seafood restaurant. I sat opposite all the tanks of fish, crustaceans and shells. After ordering a can of local beer I went on to order a kilo of fresh oysters and a plate of fried baby squid. The oysters were fantastic. They came with a small bowl of dark soy sauce and fiendishly hot Chinese wasabi and separate lime juice. Great, but impossible to eat with chop sticks particularly as they had not been freed from the remaining shell. Sadly, I found no pearls. All good for the princely total of 443,000 Dong (less than €15!!). Service was friendly if rather inhibited owing to the language barrier.

Fresh live seafood, cook to perfection! Our server was a handsome young man named Binh, who just finished colleague majoring hospitality. He helped us peeled the shrimps and mantis so we could enjoy them trouble free. This is a covered outdoor space. Dinner opens at 4pm. I highly recommend this place!

As a solo traveller craving fresh seafood, this place completely delivered! I arrived just before 6pm as the evening was cooling down, and from the moment I sat down I felt genuinely welcomed. The gentleman who served me was fantastic — his recommendations on cooking styles for the lobster and clams were spot on. The clam stir fry was an absolute highlight, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. They even helped me extract the lobster meat, which I honestly would have struggled with on my own. Such a thoughtful touch that made me feel looked after. An amazing experience!

A trustworthy seafood restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. They will calculate the price and show you the total bill before sending your order to the kitchen, which makes dining here very transparent and comfortable. We met their manager, Vicky, who was very friendly and attentive. She even helped us peel the shrimp and crab shells, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and the prices were reasonable. The clams soup is a must-order — the clams were big, fresh, and naturally sweet. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience in this restaurant that we noticed is mainly filled with locals. B made us feel so welcomed and at ease the whole time from seafood selection right til we left. He checked in at the right moments and made sure we were satisfied without being intrusive. The mantis prawns and lobster dish were skillfully deshelled and perfectly presented. You can tell that he runs the place like a well oiled machine. Speaks decent English so go ahead and have a little chat with him! The business is lucky to have him!

Very tasty and expensive, but most importantly, delicious. We had grilled oysters – amazing. Half a kilo of shrimp with a unique and unusual sauce. The salad with semolina and red fish was very balanced, and we also had meat. We just landed and didn't have time to get our bearings on the prices, but we're glad we enjoyed our dinner.
