Visited on a Sunday lunchtime and the dining room was already crowded Walk-ins are possible but the crowd makes it clear that a reservation is strongly advisable. I ordered the oysters, foie gras, and French onion soup — a classic French trio that sets a clear benchmark for any brasserie worth its name. The oysters were fresh and well-served, the foie gras was competently executed with the right richness, and the onion soup had that familiar comfort of a slow-cooked broth with melted cheese and onion. Everything was good but that said, none of the dishes quite impressed me; The steak comes highly recommended by the restaurant Unfortunately, I had already run out of appetite before getting there. That one is firmly on my to-do list for the next visit. This is a restaurant I feel I haven't fully experienced yet. The signatures are still waiting, and I'll be back to give them a proper chance.

Cozy, festive vibes in a timeless setting. This place instantly puts you in a celebratory mood, the atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with a vintage classic interior full of character. It's very photogenic too, from the warm lighting to retro details that make every corner Instagram worthy. The food is flavorful, and excellent. Paired with a solid wine selection that complements nicely. Our server was also genuine in conversation and made us feel like valued guests right from the start, and has a personal touch that turns a good dinner into a memorable one. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty food in a charming, feel good spot. We'll definitely be back!

Duck Confit and escargot was delicious but the lobster and scallop really blew my mind - the pastry absorbed so much flavour it created a perfect blend of taste and texture. Definitely worth it. Pity didn't try the foie gras today, but it gave me an excuse to come back again. This is where you would bring someone for a classy French cuisine night with great cocktails, great ambience and great service. Magnifique.

Had dinner at Brasserie Gavroche for the second time. Still one of the best French cuisine restaurants in town in my opinion. We ordered pan seared foie gras which was done beautifully by the chef, the taste and tenderness is just nice. Slow cooked lamb leg was too big for the two of us but the taste is fine, meat is very tender and outside skin is slightly caramelized. Ravioli and the chocolate lava cake would be the highlight of the meal. Chocolate cake tastes like ice cream and the plate came out iced. One thing to improve is that the waiter and waitress can refill the water more often, sometimes I have to remind them refilling. But overall the service is really nice and friendly we had a good time enjoying our meal. Overall would highly recommend the restaurant for French cuisine lovers in SG.

This classic French restaurant is a gem and absolutely they have the best beef, whether tartare or in a steak. I grew up with some very good French restaurants that have closed down over the years and it’s wonderful to have dined here! Beef tartare had a very nice tangy finish but not overpowering so I could taste the raw flavour in the beef tartare. Fries were super generous and served piping hot too. Escargot was just nice and perfectly cooked with a good amount of garlic butter left for our baguette. Wagyu Rump steak was very tender and the perfect medium rare standard served with a very classic and perfectly balanced Pommes Puree that melts in your mouth as it should! 100% fabulous bottled wine, talented chefs and wonderful service from the floor staff in glasses and a vest, as well as from the chef owner’s son. Thank you for a wonderful night! Merci beaucoup! Nous reviendrons!

Went there for birthday celebrations. The food were delicious especially the duck, the meat was a bit dry, but the skin was crispy and when you bit into it, the oil tasted enhance the dishes and it was flavourful. As for the beef, it was nice too but doesn't suprise me like the duck. The potatoes was a bit too salty in my opinion. The cake seems to be a bit larger maybe due to birthday celebrations. The apple tart was delicious and full of fruits. The environment I put lower stars due to the restaurant abit too noisy due to the table beside talked too loud. And our seats was not comfortable cuz we are arranged to sit beside a curtain. Overall the food was good and service was good too.

Brasserie Gavroche is a gem for authentic French dining. The onion soup was rich and comforting, perfectly balanced in flavor. The oysters were incredibly fresh, a true highlight of the meal. I especially enjoyed the sole fish, which came with a refreshing sauce that lifted the dish beautifully. The lobster pie with bisque was outstanding—creamy, flavorful, and indulgent in the best way. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend for anyone craving classic French cuisine done right.

enjoyed our experience here! simple and classy layout. the acidity of the salad in the bone marrow dish complemented the richness of the bone marrow; lobster/scallop in béchamel sauce was my favourite; french onion soup was decent but a tad watery. would pass on the crepes suzette as the flavour is really strong but it was our first time trying it, maybe it’s typical of this dessert! the elderflower cocktail was cool. it was a little difficult to get the waiters’ attention when it got busier at around 8pm. overall slightly overpriced, booking recommended
