TSUJIRI (Clementi Peaks)

Japanese kitchen re-opened again in April 2026 with many congratulatory flowers lined outside the shop. We decided to give this place another try after seeing that the food was priced more reasonably, and soon realized that it was a relaunch just waiting to fail again. We ordered the chargrilled chicken and fish and chips. However after waiting for half an hour for our food to come, the chicken chop came as a chicken cutlet instead. Having waited so long for our food we decided to stick to the wrong order. The fish and chips were very disappointing and the mashed potatoes that accompanied the chicken cutlet felt like mashed potatoes you could get at secondary school canteen stalls. For the additional svc charge & gst you're paying for I suggest you go to the next door coffee shop Western food instead. They have a much better fare. Service was really slow with only one guy cooking in the kitchen. Tell me why the chef also has to hand deliver the food from the kitchen to the table when were two other staff waiting behind the ice cream counter doing nothing? In the very long wait we decided to get a scoop of hojicha ice cream scoop. What I hate most about this place is that they don't include the price of the GST In the menu prices. I was expecting to pay $5.50 as quoted in the menu but instead was charged $6. It is sad to see how little Tsujiri cares about this outlet at Clementi peaks, as reflected in the attitudes of service staff, menu prices and quality of the ingredients. I was genuinely hoping for an improvement after the relaunch of the Japanese kitchen but sad to say that I was left disappointed once again.

I had a delicious dessert, Kurogama, a black sesame roll cake which is not too sweet - sweetness is just nice, and matcha latte with Hokkaido milk (additional $1) without sugar. The staff knew I was struggling to make a choice and she offered the menu so that I could slowly look through. It's an amicable service that was initiated by the lady. The cafe environment was pleasant with soothing and calm music in the background. The only fault was the toilet: (1) door was a little hard to close, (2) it does not have hooks to hang your bags and (3) it's a very wet toilet bowl. I wouldn't dare to sit on it.

This store specialises in matcha and is located at Clementi Peaks. They also sell other drinks along with pastries and ice cream. Had the matcha latte, where freshly prepared marche was poured over frothed milk. This costs $6.50. Although we were dining in, it was prepared as a takeaway order. I removed the lid before drinking else the marche will stick to the lid. Nice place to chill when the weather is hot outside.

Nice quiet cafe at Clementi. Serves desserts as well as proper food. Staffs are courteous. Good service good food

We just tried the new Matcha Yuzu and wow, the flavor hits just right – a smooth, balanced sweetness with a hint of earthy matcha that isn’t overpowering. The texture is super fine, and the shop itself is clean, spacious, and super cozy. Perfect spot if you’re after high‑quality matcha in a relaxed vibe. Give it a go and let the matcha work its magic! 🌿

Cake kinda expensive but taste and texture all ok... Drinks presentation ok , taste above average

Unfortunate timing, but i think a pipe bursted so there was water everywhere. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed their hojicha and it was decently priced for a huge cup (i got L)! My friend got the tsujiri parfait which was yummy too🙌🏼 Would come back here again! Staff were really friendly and accomodating:)

Went for the 1 for 1 - got the matcha and hojicha float. Hojicha was nicer than the matcha, with a more profound taste. Matcha taste could have been stronger. Both were abit too icey. On the pricey side ($9.16 for one). Worth eating only if 1 for 1.
