As the name suggests: indeed a simple cafe. Cosy atmosphere and extremely pleasant staff - truly one of the best cafes in Singapore 🥰 It’s rare to find cafe which changes to a seasonal menu. From the painting decors on the wall, it seems that the pastry chefs or the owners are the alumni of Le Cordon Bleu? Breakfast plate with purple rice toast is AMAZING soft and fragrant. Please also try their pastry: I’ve ordered their Kouign-Amann and it was SO GOOD that I’ve completely forgot to take a photo of it!! 🫡🥰 Come support this cafe located at NEWest mall!

Hidden gems are getting harder to find these days, but Simple Café was a pleasant surprise right in my own neighbourhood. True to its name, everything here feels simple in the best possible way — no unnecessary frills, just a warm and welcoming space where you can slow down, enjoy a good coffee, and indulge in a well-made dessert. The coffee was smooth and comforting, while the cakes and pastries were beautifully presented and delicious without being overly sweet. The strawberry cake was light and creamy, and the almond pastry paired perfectly with an afternoon coffee. What stood out most was the atmosphere. The café has a calm, cosy vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. The friendly staff behind the counter added to the experience with their warm hospitality, making customers feel right at home. If you're looking for a quiet spot to escape the crowds, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy quality coffee and cake, Simple Café is definitely worth a visit. Sometimes, the simplest things really are the best.

This was the best café I visited in Singapore. Everything was perfect. Coffee, tea, and desserts—I still can't forget it. The owner and staff were very kind, and they could speak a little Korean, which made me feel very welcome as a Korean. I highly recommend this place!! I really recommend this place to all Koreans!! The coffee and tea are really good, and the desserts are amazing haha. By the way, the owner speaks a little Korean and is a total social butterfly with a great personality, so if you're Korean, it just makes you feel good for no reason!! You absolutely have to go visit here!

This cafe is truly one of a kind in Singapore - rarely does a cafe do a seasonal menu that centres around in-season produce as the star, and they do it with heart. There’s alway something new to look forward to, both never before seen items and staples that are refreshed with the seasonal produce. Like have you ever seen a cafe do lei-cha inspired toast and cake?? The food, bakes and ambience are very cozy, the staff treat both the customers and food with much care and you can really tell. Always wonderful to spend time here either with good company or just chilling by myself on a quiet, calm afternoon :)

Simple Cafe is a hidden gem in Singapore with a cosy atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and reasonably priced for the quality. I especially enjoyed the coffee, which was smooth and rich without being too strong. The café has a calm and minimalist vibe, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Service was attentive and efficient even during busy hours. Overall, a pleasant experience and definitely a café I would visit again.

lovely food and friendly staff. the french toast was amazing we devoured it before i could take a picture. drinks are great as well with seasonal offerings and solid classics. will definitely be back for more!

Really enjoyed my visit to Simple Cafe. The vibe is chill and cozy, a nice spot to just slow down a bit. Food was solid. The savoury dish looks simple but tastes really good. Desserts were great too, we ordered the pineapple roll cake and ice lemon tea cake. Both were very good; the roll cake was soft and refreshing, and the ice lemon tea cake wasn’t too sweet. Also ordered the simple breakfast plate but forgot to take a photo because we enjoyed it too much 😂 Would come back again 👍

I prefer a slightly acidic black coffee, so I was very satisfied. Moreover, the cafe was neat, clean, and comfortable. I'll definitely come again. The music was Accusefive! Bonus points. I like my black coffee on the sour side, so it was perfect for me. The cafe interior is cozy, neat, and clean. I would come back again. Plus points for their music choice.
